4th Gen Is anyone completely satisfied?

I love you. :D 'kay, I mean, your post. XD; Seriously though, I'm right there with ya. I can't agree more here.

As for the people with an overload of complaints, etc: it's inevitable, and it doesn't affect me. Their opinion, their decision, nothing's gonna let me get involved in that crazy whirlpool.

It's difficult to please everyone out there, and that's especially true with something like this. People have wanted remakes for years, and have come up with their own wants and thoughts on what the games would include. And for some people, the early early releases of pictures don't match up with their (possibly too high) expectations.

For me, I'm used to game companies showing items and features in games that aren't in the final product, so it doesn't bother me. All I want to do is explore Johto again. I really don't care that the graphics aren't perfect (yet), or that there are changes to the original gameplay. Just as long as I can replay Silver again without the fear that the internal battery is going to die, I'm a happy little soul.
 
Ill tell you one thing, if I have to deal with Honey Trees again, I will hunt down poliwagged for this thread. If the Rival design sucks, make that two more times.
 
I'm seeing that a lot of people aren't pleased because of the female protaganist, but that doesn't bother me. I'm waiting for the next scans of June to see if I'll still be satisfied then...
 
Wow, just a month away before I can see if they F'ed up the Rival...:( Im terrified that his awesome may be ruined...especially with this new happy go lucky art style that fails to emphasis "evil". Not that it's bad....but the Rival just wouldn't fit.
 
I have to say yes I am satisfied so far. We still have more news to come. We have only recently gotten the news that there was going to be these games HG&SS.

The girl is fine. Instead of people complaining about her they should just not pick her in the game and move on.
 
If they come up with the new design of Silver, they might still add in the dark appearance to his face that gives hom the bad look. If they at least keep that, I'll be satisfied. They shouldn't take away an appearance of Silver and replace it with something that looks more jolly, because it isn't how he acts...

The girl is adorable, i loved the DPP graphics, so the updated tiles and everything is great IMO. The new names are kickass <3 Gold is a cutie now <3

The complaining is ridiculous IMHO

Now if they ruin Silver, I officially becom a hypocrite and raaagggee, complain, whine and becaome the spoiled brat i am on the inside

If they make Silver seem a bit nicer in the game then it would definitely be a mistake and wouldn't make me completely satisfied...I was actually satisfied with knowing better graphics would be used. With the new additions, some of it, it just gets better, for me anyway along with others as well.
 
So far so good, everything seems to be pretty cool in the game for now. I still want to wait for some more news. Then I'll decide if I am really satisfied with the game.
 
So far the game is coming out very nice in my opinion.
I am definitely satisfied with it.
The names are done well, the girl is adorable, Gold's makeover rocks, and the Yellow feature returning is absolutely awesome.
The rumor of having a skateboard instead of a bike just makes me love Nintendo all the more. [Even if this isn't true, I still love how the games are turning out.]
I have to say they are getting a bit 'trendy' in the games don't you think?

Making him nicer from the get-go is counter productive to the story, since he begins to change into a kinder person in the game after Lance brutally defeats him and tells him something that sticks to his mind.

So ya.
 
Who knows what the hell they might do with him. With the game's characters getting...."nicer" and friendlier I really hope he survives the transformation.
 
A transformation change of Silver could be possible. They did a change for Gary in FRLG after he became Champ. that would be pretty satisfying for me, as it'll show the change of character.
 
That does remind me of his "change of heart" near the end of GS.

He just needs to be a douche at the beginning :)

That's what happened in the original game.

When you fight him on Mt Moon, he tells you that he finally realized what he was doing wrong and that him and his pokemon have become a stronger team together.

They'll probably add more side story to him before and after the Mt. Moon battle in HG/SS.

I have to agree with you on this one. If the skateboard is there or not it's not going to to spoil the game for me. I can wait to get some news before I make my mind up on this game though.
