Is anyone not excited...?

I think my problem with the game is the lack of good shiny hunting methods. I'm currently more interested in shiny hunting in my gen 6 games then playing this game.
 
actually the only reason i'm excited for these games is that they are different than all the others (no gyms, regional forms, etc). when the games got announced for the first time i didn't even wanna get them cause i was so not-excited, the same thing over and over again gets boring. i notice people commenting on the lack of new pokemon but with the amount of new things they introduced this generation, i think it balances out just fine.
