Hey, guys. Ash has caught Dracovish in the Pocket Monsters 2019 new series from the anime. Despite its popularity among fans, do you think that Ash's Dracovish getting more screentime in the main anime? Why?

With the way things are shaping up in the anime, specifically in regards to Ash's team, I think this may be Ash's final series. His team is looking pretty OP. I think he'll win the league then the writers will give him a final send off and that will be it. He might show up in later series as a cameo but, I think his character will be "retired". Thanks Ash for the last 20 years

    ROTFLMFAO

    Really?

You got something to back this up? Or this just another 'guess'?

They haven't gotten rid of him for 20+ years now. How is this any different?

Oh and if Goh is the replacement I'm done watching the anime. He's a shit character that doesn't know how to catch pokemon that doesn't deserve to replace Ash in any way whatsoever even if we hypothetically assume you are correct and that's literally what this post is. A hypothetical.

RELAX! It's MY personal option! I think they're testing the waters with Goh to see how a replacement would fair.

But we don't actually know whether or not Ash will retire from the original main anime and then become replaced by our new main protagonist boy or girl Pokémon Trainer heroine right after the Pocket Monsters 2019 new series (known in the international dub as the Journeys series), or will he return in the next series based on main series video games or instead set in the alternate continuity in the original main anime. But we'll see. Thanks. :)

No, we don't know definitively yet. I'm just speculating based off of my observations. In 20 years, Ash has arguably never had a more OP team, maybe his Kalos team could rival his current one but, who knows for sure. By introducing Goh I personally think that the writers/creators are testing the waters with the fans to see whether a new protagonist will work or not going forward and what better way to send Ash off than by winning the Pokémon World Championships.
