Is ChaosBlack impossible??

    My niece really likes Pokemon, so I just picked one of my ROMs and we started playing through it to see how far we could get. The one I picked, however, was the ChaosBlack Version.

    Is it true that this one is impossible? I've heard stories about Pokemon being extremely difficult to catch (which seems to be the case), and how you eventually run into a dead end in Mt. Moon...

    Has anyone played this long enough to confirm either? I just don't want her to be disappointed when the game turns out to be pointless...
     
    The game is pointless. In fact, all ROMs of Pokémon are pointless. If it's not licensed by Nintendo, then don't get it.

    You should get her a DS and either Diamond or Pearl. You can get her the GBA Pokémon games later on, when she has access to Pal Park.
     
    Questions regarding roms and rom hacks belong in the Emulation forum. (or possibly the Rom Hacking sub-section depending on the question) I don't think a full version of ChaosBlack has ever been released so the game will most likely end abruptly sooner or later. Just search around a bit and you should find the answers to any other questions you might have.
