I was just wandering because Eevee wasn't available in Emerald (in which I have) and I'm only up to the Pokemon League in Pearl so I'm not sure if Eevee can be caught, or obtained other than from migration. Anybody know?

    Yep, you sure can ~
You'll find Eevee in the Trophy Garden at the back of the Mansion south of Hearthome.

Oh, by the way.. Save before talking to Mr. Backlot. That way, if he doesn't mention that Eevee has appeared in the garden then you can soft-reset and talk to him again until does ;-)

Also, I think that this is something that can only be done after obtaining the National 'Dex and/or beating the Elite 4 :O

Thanks so much for your help! =D I got worried there for a sec when you said save before talking to Mr. Backlot because I didn't the first time I met him, but I'm really hoping you mean after defeating the Elite 4. ^^ Thanks again! <3

There IS another way if I remember correctly, but technically, it isn't "catching a wild Eevee"... You can get it from Bebe (the girl in front of her laptop on some town I don't remember) as a gift... But if you DO want to CATCH one, go to the Trophy Garden instead... Hope that helped...

Oh yeah, don't worry about that. It's just that you can only change the Trophy Garden Pokémon once a day, so if you talked to him and he said, say.. Castform was in the Garden, then you would have to wait a day before you could talk to him and change the Garden Pokémon again.
So that's why you should save before, and reset if he didn't say Eevee(or whatever you're looking for) - so you don't have to wait a day inbetween each time you talk to him to change the Pokémon :3

And no problem, i'm happy to help you ^___^

Really? O.O It must be after defeating the Elite 4 then, because I had previously talked to her and all she did was say she was the co-creator of the new SDB. ^^' Thanks for the info! I'll be dropping by her house after the Elite 4. =D

The town is Hearthome and, yes, that is a way to catch (or obtain) Eevee.

    As already said. . .
"Eevee is catchable in D/P because you can find it when you get the National Pokédex."
There are two locations for Eevee though, one is Trophy Garden, very rare, the other you can obtain by talking to Bebe, the administrator of the PC Boxes.
The easiest is to talk to Bebe. She is located in Hearthome City, near the Pokémon Center, in a house. Bebe is a yellow haired girl, and when you talk to her, she will mention she is the PC Boxes administrator, and you will finally be offered a Eevee.
Eevee starts out at level 5 when you obtain it from Bebe.
