So, I'm currently working on a rom hack of Ruby & was wondering if it were possible to disable the Save menu option with XSE? I've done some searching the past few days and can't find any flag associated with the Save menu option so, I figured I'd ask here. Wasn't sure if this belonged in this section or in the ROM Hacking Hub.

I don't think you would use XSE to disable the start menu, if that's what you're asking. You'd probably have to use a Hex editor, but I'm not an expert on that.

I'm not trying to disable the Start menu entirely, just the Save option within the Start menu (if that makes sense). Ah, welp, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask here.

I'm sure someone else who knows more about hex editing will help you, just wait a bit, and someone should answer your question.
