4th Gen Is it sure, that we will be able to travell from Johto to Kanto?

    Sorry guys, but either i'm very olddated in news of HG/SS or that are only speculations of youse. Will we be able in HG/SS to travel from Johto to Kanto? For me thats not obvious, because we could travel years ago in Crystal (!) but not in G/S...
     
    Not in G/S...? Buh-wah? o.O There was always the ability to travel to Kanto in Gold and Silver, either on foot/by water through Tohjo Falls, by sea from Olivine on the S.S. Aqua and by train from Goldenrod on the Magnet Train. If Kanto is present in HGSS, it's perfectly reasonable to assume that these modes of transport will remain.
     
    actually you could go to kantoh from johto using Tohjo Falls in gold and silver so my best guess is you will be able to and if you cant that would be a big middle finger to all of the pokemon fans
     
    Well as you see the map for SS/HG they made things bigger like the routes and maybe new places to go, so I doubt that you can go travel back to Kanto, but we will just have to see and wait maybe, but I highly doubt it... lol If they would let you travel in the game. They should add the Orre region. Now that would be cool! ^_^

    Any type of hope or wishing would be illogical as it would be logical to put them in and there is no need for the region to be out. Any key element region or part of the game will not shall not be removed except for most likely the usage of apricorns. [/thread]
     
    You were able to travel via magnet train in G/S as well as Crystal. Nothing is official yet, but we are all pretty much counting on the Kanto region to be in HG/SS.

    Personally, I think Kanto should be in- it was in the originals so it should stay. BUT!!! IT MUST BE BETTER! I mean, NO SAFARI ZONE- how crap was that!

    You are able to go to Kanto in all 3 games! >>
     
    This thread is stupid and should be closed. It's obvious you can go to Kanto, the other half of the game was there, the game couldn't end with your guys in the 40's at the end of the Elite Four: Which is why Kanto is in the game to get you up maybe 30 more levels or so.

    How is this thread stupid? The guy is just asking a question, that's it.

    Even though it hasn't been confirmed, we probably will be getting Kanto. It wouldn't be a remake without it.
     
    It's not stupid of he is trying to make sure if it is confirmed yet, and well it isn't Although I do agree they couldn't make a remake without Kanto, I am surprised they haven't released any real detail on that region yet.

    Yes.. even complete Pokédex, all quests finished, completely finished the games.. but now i realize, how much years that are now...

    I have really to say "SORRY" to youse, because with such an awful memory gap i shouldn't allowed to be here in a Pokémon Community... i ever had the image of "the epic Crystal, in which you was able to challenge 16 Gym-Leaders, that was a edition...", but now i realize that Gold and Silver included 16 Gym Leaders as well... thank you guys for reminding me ._.

    Well, as pointed out, and accepted by the TO - you can go to Kanto in GSC. Which seems to have been the main point of discussion in this thread, rather than whether Kanto will be in or not. (IMO it will, really - it is a GSC remake after all, the Elite Four will have to be somewhere again, which in GSC was in Kanto...)

    At any rate, we have a thread discussing Kanto here. I'd merge this here, but considering it hasn't really had much worthy discussion on Kanto itself and how it may change, akin to what the other thread has, I'll just close this one. One thread >>> two very similar ones.
