[Scripting Question] Is there a guide for coding new moves effects ?

yes i know but i want to try to code them myself so i don't have to credit anyone in my game

And why don't you want to exactly? Even if you do code everything yourself, the code is gonna be extremely similar if not exactly the same as the code in those threads.

If you really wanna learn to code and have some basic knowledge of Ruby then try looking at existing move code, analyze it, study it and use this knowledge to code new moves.

I'm going to echo Golisopod User by saying that the best way to learn programming in general, and specifically to learn how to make your own move effects, is by splicing existing effects together to create the desired functionality. That's how I started too.

And there's also nothing wrong with using existing people's public work. You can't expect to make a whole game on your own (i.e. without using anyone else's work), because you're already using Pokémon Essentials to begin with.
