I recently posed a problem about the game crashing when I tried to import a certain tileset. Well now I know that the cause of this problem was because the tileset was to "Big" (Long). So I ask, is there a way to remove the tileset length limit?

There is no way to remove such limitations sadly, the best you could do is split it up into different tilesets for different areas (Such as Routes/Cities/Caves/Indoors/ect. could have different tilesets to decrease the length of your tileset)

Aw darn... Well thank you anyway! :)

I didn't know there was a length limit... Which leads me to believe the limit is no small number.

So as Hanisec said, it's better to have multiple smaller tilesets than one big tileset. Not only does it avoid the size limit, it also conserves some memory.

Just wanted to say that there is actually no real upper limit of length in rpg maker xp. Obviously, larger tilesets will take up more memory and such, but they shouldn't crash the game. I don't know how big yours is, but I'm currently using one that is over 40k pixels long and it runs fine.
