Like some people already stated here, it is already made somewhat easier to obtain a shiny Pokemon in Gen.6; by Chain Fishing, Masuda Method and PokeRadar (the odds are increased as well from 1/8192 to 1/4096 - without the Shiny Charm).
And remember that shiny Pokemon are still, really rare (and that's the way how it should be imo, or else this will make them less-special to obtain).
However, the ONLY way to make things even more "easy" than they are now, is that you will have to work really hard to complete the Pokedex by obtaining every single Pokemon out there (except obtaining event legendary Pokemon), and receive the Shiny Charm, which will increase your odds even more to find a shiny Pokemon (in the wild, 1/1365, AND by breeding using the Masuda Method, odds are 1/512, only with the Shiny Charm that is). I know it works great for me, since I have over 4 boxes of shiny Pokemon now in Pokemon X thanks to the Shiny Charm in combination with the Masuda Method (the Shiny Charm doesn't increase the odds of finding a shiny Pokemon in a Friend Safari). :)
But, like I said this takes A LOT of your time. So I would go with Odyssey, try hunt in the Friend Safari, since the odds there are 1/512 as well :) You will get them eventually, you will see. Just have enough patience when it comes to obtaining a shiny!
But, good luck and above all: have fun playing the game and obtaining more shinies! ;)
