4th Gen is this HACKING

At the end of the day, a Pokemon raised on Rare Candies and hacked TMs is exactly the same as a Pokemon raised on EXP and legitimate TMs. Therefore, I don't care.

And I'm not just saying this because that's how I raise my Pokemon.

In way its hacking but no one cares and its easy to get as many rare candies as you need just takes a while to get enough points at the battle tower same as a certain TM's

It is technically hacking, but you can get more of those items anyway so it should be alright.
Although if you're planning to use reare candies to level a pokemon straight to level 100, you should EV train it first or else it will have lower stats than if you raised it by battling.

On the ball. The only difference is the amount of time it takes to get to Level 100, and the amount of time it takes to get the TMs.

You can also get Rare Candy from PickUp Pokemon, such as Linoone, Aipom and Meowth. That's how I usually get my Rare Candies, as I usually always have my Linoone in my party. You can actually get Earthquake from PickUp, as well, since I have a mountain of those... XD;

They actually said that they wanted Rare candy so that they didn't waste EVs; they're just wanting to get to a decent level, so that they can get EVs from the Pokemon they need to be defeating. you can't really take on a Level 41 Tentacruel with a Level 18 Pokemon now, can you? :P

Anyway, my thoughts on ARing for Rare Candy and TMs is just like aircon; so what if you're ARing them. At least you aren't ARing "the perfect Pokemon", as some usually refer to one with Max IVs, or setting Pokemon with the ability, Wonder Guard, to effectively make them invincible. The latter are the cases you don't want to be doing, if you're worried about hacking. But Rare Candies and TMs aren't even a big deal. Some do that, while others obtain both games, and trade stuff across, so they have more of. Effectively, you're doing the same thing, only instantaneous; without having to trade things across, in the most tedious manner... :P

Any use of an external device to alter the game or the game's save data in any way is considered hacking. Wether the trainer approves of this method to obtain a certain goal will vary. I certainly don't mind if you use an external device to obtain items or level up, since it doesn't exactly alter the outcome or base strength of the Pokemon that is battling. What I do mind is that if you use Action Replay to enhance or alter the stats in any way, such has getting over 510 EV Points in a Pokemon or getting extremely good IVs with the use of a cheat device.

So in my response, I would approve of this method. I wouldn't mind at all if you used an external device to obtain items or level up.
