Well I checked all stickies and I don't know if this goes in Simple Questions either.

On my friends Ruby game, he's up to the point when he's following Latios.
When I checked his PC I was like o.O ZOMG! CELEBI? JIRACHI? DEOXYS? FOUND IN ROUTE 116? He also had 3 of each of the Lati's. There is even infinity rare candies, all the berries at infinity, and 99 master balls. And the OT wasnt even real! He didnt know a SETH or an AAAAAAA! He said he got them by following Latios. Is his game pirated, or is it result of using AR? Cause he has Mew at infinity stats and he used AR for that. He used an AR code wrong on HIS friend's game and he got a Bad EGG. And he doesnt hack.

Like I said, if this belongs in Simple Questions please close this and I will post it there where I might see some action.

Well, It's called CHEATING. And actually, cheating isn't fun after you think about it. You don't need to go in the wild or anything and just use action replay to get EVERYTHING, then you don't need to train your pokemon just use rare candies. And I think cheating is evil. It is sometimes even dangerous to your game. My first time ever cheating is when I was trying to get a bellossom. I got it, but its invisible. put it in my party. it appears. then I have a bad egg that can really ruin my game. so don't follow your friend.

Hehe,Looks like your friend is a good cheater.

there is no way he could of found those pokemon.

Well it MAY be caused by the AR, but my question is HOW did he get the mew in the first place?

That's obviously cheating. I don't like cheating in that way, but you know ... me being me, I once cheated a Growlithe into Sapphire. But I think that's different. I'm not going after all kinds of Uber-Legends, or getting infinite Master Balls. I'm just getting the pokemon I like.

actually i found a celebi on route 116 when i was chasing latios on my emerald. i dont know how but it was there and ive never cheated. so i threw a masterball at it and broke out!i think its just a glitch

As far as I can tell, the only way to get Mew on any version without attending a nintendo Event, is to cheat. The 99 master balls kind of give it away.

As for cheating being evil; I don't think so. It might be a bit pointless when you've friends to trade with: after all, you can get a complete pokedex by trading with those who can download stuff from pokemon colloseum. If, however, you are like me, on your own as far as playing pokemon goes, cheating is the only thing you can do if you want to catch 'em all.

I have two cheat systems: the standard AR, and something called Xplode, which runs on a system compatible with Gamesshark. When I use either, I'm cautious, because some codes seem to cause glitches if they aren't input correctly- or merely cause glitches for no apparent reason.

It all depends on just how desperate you are to have what your friend has got- and whether you're prepared to risk banjaxing your game to get them! :D
