Could anybody help me out here, on the topic of fake cards I was hoping somebody could help me with a seller on ebay and whether his cards are real or fake. The seller is thepokemonshark. The seller has good reviews, I was just wondering if anybody here has bought from this seller or could take a look at some of his card listings and tell me what they think,

    Thanks,

    Tom

I've moved your post to its own separate topic since it's more asking about a seller's product quality rather than explicitly about fake cards.

I have never bought from the seller, but with 1300 feedback in the past year they seem to move a lot of cards. Just glancing at them, none of their listing photos look fake. I think some of the cards are overpriced, but I haven't actively been shopping for Wizards of the Coast era Pokemon cards in the past couple of years, which is what thepokemonshark deals in, so what I initially think cards from that era should be worth is probably off some. If you think a card is overpriced, look up the completed listings for other listings of the card and see which listings sold and for what prices, then compare the average and/or range of those prices to what is being asked, and then ask yourself if the card is worth it if it comes in at a higher price.

They look like a very legit seller-they've been on eBay for 7 years nearly, have nearly 1400 positive feedback from a year ago I would say they're very legit.

Looking at the items for sale, none of them are fake. The PSA graded won't grade fakes anyway (if you send one they will send it back ungraded). He has a lot of rare items for sale (that 1st Edition Chinese Base set it gorgeous!).

If you're buying a PSA graded card you can always use the little number bottom right to check it's authenticity on the PSA website.

If you're referring to the feedback left by the buyer "s***o", I would look at how much feedback he has, it looks like he overbid for the item and then claimed it's fake to try to get the money back
