Issue with editing the editor scripts

I was trying to put the gen 6 project scripts in, and part of it included editing the editor. I followed the tutorial (rename Scripts, rename EditorScripts to Scripts, edit scripts in RPG maker, rename back)

The problem is, now it's still only loading the editor when I try to load the game. I renamed them correctly as the Editor only loads the Editor too.

I feel like I'm missing something really obvious, but I have no idea why this is happening. Thanks in advance!

You may have renamed Scripts back to EditorScripts while RMXP was still open. If you happened to save after that, the original Scripts would have been replaced with whatever code was open in RMXP at the time, which was the Editor's code. You now have two copies of EditorScripts, and you've lost the game's scripts. Simple check: are the two files the same size? If so, you're out of luck.

    Hope you were making backups.

Yeah they're the same size. Thank you so much, I was so confused!

Luckily I have been making backups, so I'm not completely screwed haha
