It was my understanding that there would be no math.

It's easier to state what subjects I hated: History (I never liked remembering "Why where who how did what at when?") and Accounting (too rigid).

I simply loved physics (fun), computer science (fun), maths (especially proofs, which are challenging and mind-stimulating), economics (insightful) and psychology (interesting).

I absolutely hated Economics. Of the four subjects I chose to take at GCSE, it was the one that I didn't have much of a reason other than suggestion by the head of business. Easily the most boring subject I've ever entered. It didn't help that I had that jerk teacher I mentioned in the hate thread for Year 10.

I despised RE. I dropped it as soon as I knew I had a legal right to. Mandatory? Balderdash. Mostly because my teacher seemed to think the only two religions in the world are Christianity and Islam.

I never really liked English Literature either. I ate up the English Language course, loved every second, took it at A-Level; but I hate all this comparing and contrasting books and themes. I was really good at analysis, but every step of the way I couldn't help but think that what I was writing had nothing to do with the authors intention... I wouldn't be surprised if most of the time they weren't trying to convey anything at all...

Least favorites? PE, by far. It's not that I didn't like exercise, it's that I am awful at sports. No coordination skills and no strength. My favorite PE class by far was aerobics because it was self-oriented and there were no winners and losers. If PE had been like that all my years I would've enjoyed it more.
This. Exactly this. Apart from Rugby, I'm not bad at that.

I enjoyed History. My teacher was the best I've ever had and I like the approach History takes: Why did this happen? What caused that why? For someone who's awfully pedantic and likes to know everything, History is a good subject!

Same for Sciences, actually. Particularly Chemistry and Biology, I don't care that much for Physics. I love the whys and hows of the world, but I'd say that Science is a little more relevant to me than History, so that takes the top spot! Psychology has been interesting to me for the same reasons, but I've just started the course, so I'm going to reserve judgement for it!

Since everyone seems to hate Maths, I may as well give my opinion: I don't mind it. My teacher was cool and I never found the work too challenging... Until I started A Level maths anyway! But I never found the work relevant or really worthwhile, which is what I think turns a lot of people off. Bearing in mind I'm not looking to be a physicist or engineer, give me a day to day reason to know the Binominal Theorem and I'll dance naked to school on Monday.

Math is boring for me really. Not bad at it it's just not enjoyable most of the time.

ALTHOUGH. Order of operation problems are quite fun as well as equations. But of course today I have 2 pages of equations to do. UGH.

My two favourite subjects are Math/Algebra and World History. Civics & Economics is okay-ish. It isn't that bad.
