not that i made a distinct presence here.

before any of you harp on me for my graphic sizing, i'll let you know that i'm a fan of tiny graphics and horribly bright colors and no, i do not make depth banners; don't plan to. i'm fine with flats; personally, i'm not such a fan of depth for the most part. some people here are really amazing with it, though. ahh, the envy.

icon spam:

here's to hoping that most of you have enough brains to be able to tell that these aren't just cropped images for the most part, and that there was a lot of color editing in most of these.

banner spam:

i've made a lot more, but they were either posted in my ooooooooooooold thread or... just not posted because i'm too lazy to. and yeah, i'm not gonna bother with posting colored manga/desktops for now, 'cause... i just don't wanna.

Well I do say you use an odd style. More original. I prefer to have "Stronger" color in the works where yours uses "weaker" coloring. even thouigh it may have been a long time for you. You still have that artistic spark. Keep up the good work. :)

ah? strong and weak coloring; can't say i quite comprehend. i guess those are more depth-ish banner terms? most people here seems to be in the depth style. my flat terms are so different, rofl. or maybe i'm stupid. well, regardless, thanks for your complements. x) it's not really an original style though. head to livejournal and you'll see a lot of stuff that's kinda similar to mine.

Samz, as usual, your graphics are wonderful~ :L I really like icon #1, #8, and #15. The colourings are lovely. And the textures too, they flow well.

I really admire the banner you made for Alzi/the Toon Link one. :@ I really do love the colouring, and the background blends nicely. Also the banner you maed for Chelc is really nice. :'D

there's a link somewhere that says 'icons' near some other links. somewhere under the header and 'entries, etc' stuff.

uhh... i started out with a softish grain texture (not too grainy) and then put my base on, on color burn, 70% opacity. duplicated the base layer, and set it to multiply on 30%. slapped on a selective coloring layer and put in more reds/blues/yellows to give it a burst of color, then got a really grainy texture and set it to multiply on 70%. added a curves layer to make it a litte bit lighter, then went crazy with hue/saturation and made it a lot more... saturated.

... hope that helps? x_x erm, the opacities may vary according to your base and textures.
