Greetings to you all. My name is Waru. It has been a really long time since I last visited this place.
I originally participated in this community in 2006, mostly in the ROM hacks region. I came back in 2009 to start a great role-playing thread (which took off, and then I abandoned it, regretfully).
It's been a good four years, and I'm back. I'm excited because there is so much I want to take part in, and much that I would like to share with everyone.

    A little bit about myself:
    I casually draw and write.
    My biggest focus is programming.
I am an avid student of the Japanese language. (If you have any translation questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.)
I have a habit of always immersing in my thoughts.

    -
    Pokemon:

Favorite Pokemon? Suicune has always been my best pal.
    Favorite region? Johto
    Favorite Pokemon practice? Pokemon Research/Science
    Favorite Pokeball? Premier

    Activities concerning Pokemon:

    Drawing and writing.
Playing the games, obviously. I'm slowly becoming a casual competitor.
    ROM Hacking (and such)

    Other activities:

    MMORPG Gaming
    [insert "not-ready-enough-to-call-an-activity-needs-more-practice" here]

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting members of the community. I'm happy to be back.

Hey there, dude. Welcome back to the forums (I just came back to them myself after a year, haha)
Not too sure how much ROM Hacking has progressed in the past few years, last I remembered they were figuring out Gen 4's coding.

Thanks. Welcome back to you, too! Yes, that is also where I left off reading about - Gen 4. I guess now they have Gen 4 and Gen 5 hacks? I can't wait to read up on what's been going on.

Yeah, I'm interested to see where they are now. Hopefully they can make full hacks now (custom tilesets, Pokémon, music, etc.) but I don't know.

And thanks dude! Kinda odd to be back after such a long hiatus from here (and Pokémon itself), but I'll get used to it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I can't wait to dive into the fun.
I know the feeling too! I haven't stopped playing Pokemon, but I have been absent from this community for a while, and now I'm just confused at where to start. I have so much in mind, haha.

Welcome back to PC! It's a pleasure to have you here again, and I hope you enjoy your stay here with us!

Hard to believe 2009 was 5 years ago now, isn't it? At least, it is to me. Were you by any chance considering getting back into ROM Hacking or roleplaying? Both sections of the forum are still very much alive, and I'm sure both would be grateful for your contributions!

Should you ever want someone to talk to, feel free to shoot me a VM anytime. I look forward to seeing you around on the forums~

Hey Waru! Welcome back to the community.

We have somewhat similar interests. I used to draw a lot in the past and tried myself at writing a novel (Which I gave up on quickly shortly after.), I've also enjoyed my fair share of MMOs.

It's really strange to see someone who participated in ROM hacking all the way back in 2006 when it was still fresh and unexplored. I am also avidly into ROM hacking and would love to strike up a conversation with you about what's been going on and what's new. Just add me on Skype or send me a VM if you ever feel like talking.

Yes! It's been quite long now that I am coming to realize it, haha. I am considering getting back into both, but I'm trying to figure out when and how, at the moment. I am just really excited, entirely, to get back into it all.

I'm glad to hear it! Yeah, I recall it was really complicated for a lot of people and there were very few notable hacks that were actually in production. Back in '06, I joined a rom-hacking group on here where we split the work and chatted about our activities on MSN Messenger and whatnot. Haha. Yes to it all. Also, I'd love to chat with you. Will add you, definitely.

Hi there, nice to meet'cha! Welcome back, stranger.

What sort of MMOs are you into?

    Hello~ Thanks!
    I enjoy quite a few MMOs, but if I had to choose from the ones I play most often - MapleStory, TERA, and TalesRunner (for goofing off/boredom/maintenance in other two). These are the ones I'm on the most. ;3;
