    After years and years of wanting to feel truly complete with my collection of main Pokemon games, it finally happened tonight. My copy of Green arrived in the mail! It's funny, cause I had a headache going on for hours and no medicine until my mom got home. When she finally did, she called me downstairs and I went (like a zombie) and was like "ughhhhh you better have aleve otherwise this is pointless" and she was like "I have that and a thing from a foreign country came in the mail" and then I became a kid and grabbed it with the biggest smile ever and she was just like "I thought that'd help." lol

    Anyway, here it is! In great condition too, I might add.

    I think I'll base my team on what the worst sprites in the game are, so feel free to make suggestions based on that criteria. :P Of course, Charizard is going to be on my team. It's my favorite Kanto starter and Charizard's Green sprite is my absolute favorite sprite ever. It's just so bad it's great. I love it. It looks ridiculous and I can't wait to have that ridiculousness on my team.

    Not sure if I'm gonna post my travels in the journey journal or here in my blog, so feel free to help me decided on that as well. I'm probably gonna go through the game super slowly though because I'm working on my Dex in X and I can't read Japanese. Unlike with my gen IV and V Japanese games, there aren't any item images or anything like that to get me through the game. So I'll have to play by...checking Serebii constantly, pretty much. lol

    As bad as Vaporeon looks, I love Jolteon too much to pass that up. Though Jolteon does have one of the best Green sprites, gotta admit. I like it more than its RB cousin.
     
    my girlfriend got me one as well and i plan on taking japanese classes sometime this year so i can fully enjoy it (:

    Had the same thing happen to me (brother was curious about the japanese packaging, but he knows I take japanese so it was whatever), only it was Rhythm Tengoku instead. Great game.
