Storytime!

So, once upon a time a random space wizard named Oz drank a purple elixir and proceeded to give birth to an oddly mundane child. He looked at this child and immediately knew there would be no pretzels in his future, so he screamed "Dirty muggle!" and cast him down to the first planet he passed: Mars. But then something went wrong, and the once lush planet of Mars exploded as the baby went through a time gate and ended up on planet Earth, far in the future.

That baby was not me.

If it was, then that Oz guy was totally wrong about there not being any pretzels in my future.

So, onto me, myself and Ivysaur.

I'm a fourteen-year-old raging homosexual male human child (as far as you know) that was born and raised in the suburbs of New York State. My birthday is June 6^th, so I'll be turning fifteen rather soon.

I joined The Pokécommunity in September of 2011. I initially discovered the forum because of the ROM Hacks and Game Development sections, but I quickly realized that I had zero talent in those areas so I fled and took shelter in the Roleplay Corner, where my talent in writing could be put to use. I've debated doing some things in the Fanfiction area, and I did try once, but I never seem to get around to it.

I'm an all around kind of person, but my main thing is that I like to write. I hope to one day become a published author that's so famous that y'all will be forced to bow down to my glory. Sadly I don't really like dictatorships, so I don't think I'll ever end up doing that. Other than writing I enjoy playing video games, owning multiple systems that include a PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS Lite, PS2, PS, PSP, GBA SP, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo 64. I believe that's it.

I listen to all different types of music, although I'm not a huge fan of genres such as screamo/heavy metal, and I don't really like rap music. I enjoy reading, mainly fantasy books, and watching a variety of television shows and movies. I'm not very good at picking favorites or anything, so I probably won't be able to answer such questions very well. ^-^;

Lately, due to certain people and video games, I've taken an interest into the stories of comic books, although I have yet to read any of the actual comics themselves.

Also, I started dating my first boyfriend last September, although he technically broke up with me in January. Regardless, he's my best—and one of my only—friends. Right now there's some things going on, however, that are getting a bit annoying and might prove to be a bit of a problem between us. Though the problems arise from a third party, so neither of us blame each other. I suppose I can give more info on that after everything's settled. It has made me realize that my life before him absolutely sucked, however, and that I seriously need to stop being timid and go find some friends.

Going off of that, I'm a lazy person that seriously doesn't like to do homework, or any kind of work, for that matter. I'm also a very quiet person, and that's gotten me into trouble more than a few times.

Anyways! I've said so much already, I'll leave the rest to you to ask. Ask me anything! I'm pretty open about most things. I suppose if questions that I don't feel very comfortable with begin to arise, I could make a list here, I doubt that will happen, though. ;3

How far into ROM hacking did you dabble before going "LOL NOPE"? By that I mean, were you learning all the codes, and making your own game, or did you just read into it and think it was daunting?

Nothing too major, I guess.
People constantly tell me to speak up, and I often have to repeat myself a million times before people hear me, or I just give up. Sometimes I'll be talking to people or trying to get their attention and they don't respond, so after trying a few times I can't tell if they can't hear me or if they're ignoring me. ._. It also sucks when I'm trying to get the attention of someone who is leaving or something, but I don't yell loud enough so they're like "LOL NOPE I'm gone."

There's also the case that my ex-boyfriend's mom doesn't seem to like me, and she complains to him all the time about me being too quiet. Lol, being quiet isn't as nice as it would seem, sometimes.

Anyways, I used Advance Map for a while, and sometimes I still do. I came to find out that I was decent at mapping, but I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how to script or properly place events or anything. I didn't really feel like learning, either, lol.

Pfft, I hate to mention him in everything, but my ex was the one who knew how to code and script things. Well, a lot better than me, at least. He originally planned to major in Computer Sciences . . . I think. It sucks, because he kind of covers all of my weaknesses. In this case, he's loud and obnoxious and can script. d: //got to stop relating everything back to him. Still getting used to that.

This is something I'm not very sure of.
I enjoy so many different super powers, and many of them complement my personality in some way or other, so I normally pass them on to one of my various characters. The main book series I plan to write involves super powers galore, and . . . it's hard to choose.

For one thing, if I could fly that would be nice. A) It would be freaking cool, and B) I'm afraid of heights (so to say, afraid of falling), so the flight thing would help with that, lol.

If I was telepathic, I could speak with people in my head and push a thought if I needed. If I had telekinesis, I could move things around and whatnot. If I could teleport, then I could get to anywhere instantly!

I suppose if I could regenerate, I wouldn't have to worry about getting hurt, and I might not age. But while not aging is cool at first, it could seriously suck after a while. . . .

But if I could create Illusory constructs, then I could make my imagination come to life in so many ways. That would be cool. Building off of that, if I had some weird Alan Wake thing going for me, I could write things into reality . . . which would be interesting, but I don't want to be able to control not only my life, but anyone else's . . . I wouldn't want to do something I regret and not be able to take it back, you know?

So, out of everything up there . . . if I could fly and create illusory constructs (Green Lantern much?), I would be content, lol. d:

Truthfully, that title came from some elaborate . . . insanity of mine over at EverGrande City forums. Well, I guess you wouldn't call it elaborate, but I randomly changed my gender to female and ranted on about the greatness of pink and how everyone should bow down to its glory. I haven't really been there in a while, but that's probably how many EGCers still see me, lol.

As for the stereotype . . . well, nowadays I see plenty men wearing pink, and nobody says anything or makes fun of them for wearing it. It's a tired and pointless stereotype, and I think many people have come to realize that. Sure, you'll still immediately tend to relate colors such as pink to female, and those such as blue to male (although not so much), but that's more of a slight indicator that doesn't make much difference in the end. Plus, there's a lot of guys that can rock the color pink! xD

Oh my, a favorites question on a broad topic! Honestly, I'm not sure what my favorite food is. I enjoy so many of them, and there's plenty more to try. Plus, there's foods that can taste incredibly wonderful or incredibly horrible depending on how they're cooked, so . . . well, in general I guess I can say I like my fruits and veggies more than my meats, but that's as close as I can really get you to an answer for that right now, lol.

No, not really. I wasn't with my mother on Mother's Day. She was actually out with my sister most of the day, and I was at my father's house. I went to my "step-mother's" (in quotations considering that she and my father are not married, although they've been together since as far back as I can remember) parents for a little while, though. I just kind of sat there playing The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap. ._.; Lol

Yes, yes we did. And . . . hmm, I haven't been so paranoid about him lately. After all, we are married. I'm still generally paranoid, though, but I suppose I have enough things on my plate to occupy me so that I don't think of the creepies, lol.

Mmm. Well, if we go by the sane part of my mind, however minuscule that part may be, I don't think either of them necessarily exist. That doesn't mean that they don't, just that I'm not convinced.

But if we're referring to the paranoid part of my mind . . . then yes, everything and anything that could possibly freak me out or harm me in any way whatsoever does truly exist, no matter how unlikely or trivial that thing is. Likewise, all of the good things don't exist because my paranoia hates me and doesn't allow my Torchic to protect me from all of the horrible dangers hiding in my closet. :x

(Funny thing is, I actually introduced The Rake and Slendy as NPCs over in a roleplay in the Roleplay Corner. It's based around Grim Reapers, so it fits. d; I NAMED THEM CRISPIN AND RISTRU. Why? I have no idea why.)

And I LOVE THEM ALL. Although, there was a point in life where I may have said Cyndaquil or Teddiursa. I love those little guys. I also have somewhat of an emotional attachment to Torchic. Y'know how most little kids have a literal blanket for a "security blanket"? Not me, I had a Torchic plushie, BECAUSE I'MA BAU5.
