Soooo... what's your favourite video game? :3
ANOTHER FAVORITES QUESTION.
And about something that's been in my life since before I can remember. ;w;
Well, obviously, I love Pokemon. That's always been great fun, and it's been part of my life since before I can remember.
I absolutely love the stories and graphics of the Final Fantasy games series', but with ones like XIII, the gameplay doesn't keep me very engaged. Similarly, I looooove Kingdom Hearts, and the gameplay in that is much more my style.
Games like Skyrim are amazing, and I can play them over and over and over and over again and still only get a taste of what's in the game. I've had Skyrim for a year and a half and I've barely scraped the surface of that game.
Portal and Portal 2 are great; they have awesome stories, incredible characters, and fun puzzles. I adore them~
The Left 4 Dead games are great fun, and, unless I'm forced to play alone, I don't get tired of them. Much like in Portal, VALVE does a great job with the characters and story, even though the story is handed to you in a more indirect manner, although that gives it much of its appeal.
Games like Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper and Ratchet & Clank are amusing on many levels. They're cartoony, have fun stories and gameplay, great characters and manage to not feel childlike.
The Sims and Minecraft allow me to get all my creative juices flowing, and the fun never ends! It's great.
I haven't delved too deep into the series, but the stories in Assassin's Creed are intricately detailed and involving, and I enjoy them.
Borderlands is just pure madness, and that's what makes it so awesome! I once stayed up with my friend until three in the morning everyday for a whole weekend playing that game non-stop. It was great!
Classics like Mario, Sonic, and Kirby are, well, classic, and they're fun to play.
Fighting games and the like, such as Injustice, Soul Calibur, and Tekken often have interesting stories and cool characters, and although Fighting games make me rage-quit more than any other game genre known to man, they're still fun to play. Similarly, games like Smash Bros. are great if you have a bunch of people to play with. :3
I can't bare to play games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil on my own, because I'm a coward, but Silent Hill, the early games especially, are so emotional and have great stories. Resident Evil (6 mainly) looks and functions beautifully, and the story is wonderful.
Um . . . um . . . okay, I'll stop myself there, lol. Well, as you can see, I can't really pick a favorite video game. There are so many that are so awesome in their own right, I just can't choose! xD
