GB Player music not being the same as the original tracks. The instruments are too high quality, and there are some changes here and there... Ah well, guess it was too much effort to replicate the old chiptunes.

One thing I noticed: the Mart theme is different. In C/S/G, the song that was for the location was the song in the mart. In HG/SS, they replaced it with some crappy song that doesn't even sound good! That was a real let-down, as that was a really cool thing.

It's a remix of the Mart theme which has been used ever since Ruby/Sapphire. (I think, at least it appeared first there.)

I think it's quite relaxing, actually.

I noticed, that if you change to...the Silph Co. (I think) theme for the Pokegear, and go to the map, there is a little change there.

Some Changes from the Jap version

Well the english versions of HGSS [the US versions] have been leaked out yesterday and i started testing them and just after the game begins, i found a change.

Well i guess there will be some minor changes like these in the game.
Anyway, since i'm busy with my exams, i couldn't play the game for a long while...but i guess there will be many changes....

These are pretty similar actually, the 'differences from GSC' and 'differences from Japan's version' threads, so merging the two (as I don't see much potential beyond 'here's a difference' 'wow' sort of replies that'll move to slot-machine angsting in the latter necessarily as well).

The latter. =P Stores have them, they just aren't releasing them yet (or aren't meant to - one person has gotten the real version already because the game store people made a mistake -_-).

It doesn't have to be a game store, it can be a online pre-order. They are purposely shipped early so that the game will arrive by the day of release and in some cases they might arrive at your home before it releases. It may also be someone who works at a store and leaks it himself.

I love that the sea has sounds when you go near it. and the spinning sign near the pokemarts. heck even that random body of water near cherrygrove city in g/s/c is there!
