I think you'll enjoy that, it's a Shounen Jump romance so you know what you're getting yourself into, nothing special pretty but fun. I actually read it all in one stint a few months ago.

I haven't been reading much in the last week or so, just keeping up with the ones i have ongoing. Oh, and read the first 17? Lotte no Omocha chapters so I wouldn't feel the need to watch it. Still got over 9000 One Piece, Hayate, Gantz and Sket Dance chapters to go....I don't feel like reading shonen/sienen atm. -.-

Let's hope XD

It seems pretty cool tho, I'm probably going to enjoy it. Haha XD

That's a lot of chapters :o

I'm going to Borders today so I'm probably going to buy the Death Note collection set thing (13 volumes) it's 100 dollars but I have a 60% off coupon so I can buy it for 40 dollars.

I guess that would be about £35 - 30, that's well worth it. Saying that I'd rather spend the money on Bakuman manga and get Death Note on DVD if I was buying that manga pairings work.

I can see how collecting could become an expensive habit, it's been under a week since my Mirai Nikki volumes turned up and i'm already planning my next buy. Card Captor Sakura and Yotsuba&! are near the top of my want list.

I was going to get some more R+V manga, but seeing as that set is a good price with the coupon, why not buy it? XD

Exactly why I'm getting a job XD So I can support my hobby. I'm saving 50% of my paycheck on the side for everything else, or when I quit or get fired I have extra money to use :o

Just dropping by to say that Denpa Onna was disappointing in the SHAFT departments. OP/ED was meh unappealing singer (animation was superb as usual). Headtilts and panning shots were too subtle. Little to no still frames. It's still pretty interesting though. A lot of people compare it to Arakawa, but Arakawa definitely outdoes Denpa Onna in the SHAFT department so far on the first episode.

One can only hope that they were too tired to put any SHAFTness in Denpa Onna because Madoka finale will be riddled with them.

I kinda hope it stays like that tbh, I'll be following Maria Holic Alive and trying to get through a few other of their titles before the summer. So yeah, that's enough Shaftness, please stay as you are Denpa.

Am I the only one that found Arakawa to be bland as a comedic SHAFT show? i mean, it's good, but, uh, eh. Well this is the same person that loves Maria Holic and look what Maria Holic S2 episode 2 showed. I did not get the reference and the only thing I could say that I got out from this episode is that they referenced IS and got an ED (lame song but awesome animation).

Also, Shaft usually makes the best OP/ED (including the song) but why does their 2 production this season has crap OP/ED song. Denpa Onna has got one of the most annoying OP song ever. Loving the ED though.

As for the episode itself. I got my neck strained trying to copy all the head tilt. I really love SHAFT's trademark head tilt. I also noticed that M+H got Kanako doing the head tilt thing, though only for a few seconds.

EDIT: THERE'S TOO MANY SHOW TO WATCH THIS SEASON! I JUST GOT OVERWHELMED. I STILL HAVEN'T WATCHED NICHIJOU ep 2, STEINS;GATE ep 2, HENZEMI ep 2 AND I NEED TO START WATCHING A-CHANNEL, AO NO EXORCIST, DEADMAN WONDERLAND AND HIDAN NO AIRA!

Ugh. If I probably don't have the time to watch them, i'd probably just be follwoing TWGOK, Ano Hana, Hanasaku Iroha, Denpa and M+H this season. Which is a lot considering I only followed three last season. <..<

I adored season one of Arakawa, equally as much as SZS's first season and Bakemongatari. Maria Holic is actually the least funny of the more recent Shaft comedy IMO (HidiSketch and Natsu as well as the 2 i mentioned earlier), saying that it's still pretty good. My main problem with Maria Holic was the repetitiveness, the constant nosebleeds are not funny.

I watched Ao no Exorcist earlier, rounded off a pretty damn good start to the season. Generic shonen done really, very right would be my take on that one.

I'm staying away from Ao no Exorcist

It looks good, but it only has like 20 chapters of manga. And I hate when shows make up an original ending since most of them are terrible .

I did watch all the episodes of Naruto besides filler once. I was trying to catch up to where the anime was. I quit after getting to shippuden episode 11 because honestly it was boring at the beginning. Then I watched 5 episodes last night and the one I was to next was epic. Now they're two about 200 episodes. As long as I watch about 5 every weekend I should catch up after a while. I don't want to burn out on it again. :(

20 x 3 = 60

Those chapter lengths are ~50 pages you know. Assuming you're basing those chapters pages off Weekly Jump length (20), that's a good 50-60 chapters. Still not the best start, but they can easily do 24 episodes with that.

Huh, I had no idea the chapters were 50~ pages

I might consider to watch it now

So, in other news, a commenter on gg has sparked mild speculation that SHAFT actually has 13 episodes planned for Madoka, and is going to trololol us all. As usual.

The 13th episode will, theoretically, be released on Walpurgisnacht.

Pre Shippuden the filler was more entertaining than the main plot.

That wouldn't really surprise me but i hope not.

Anyway, i started Samurai Bebop Champloo last night and so far so good. After the first few episodes i might actually be enjoying it more than it's Space Cowboy counterpart.

Also just finished downloading LotGH, I want to start that one pretty soon.

Make sure you watch My Conquest is the Sea of Stars first, it comes first in production order and chronological order.

If you watch the first couple of episodes before that, you might be wondering why they're keep on saying "It's that man again".

I forgot there were films that take place before the series. Golden wings and Overture to a New War as well as the film you mentioned, I'm guessing i only need to watch that one and i can go to the others any time?

Yep, production order is the best order.

I've heard really bad things about Golden Wings though, so I'm staying away

No usually a fan of the more serious Gintama arcs but the Benizakura one was very good, I won't watch the film version now but I'm certainly looking forward for it.

Also 5CMPS manga first chapter is about the web now, I read the first chapter and not surprisingly i loved it. Not quite to the same level as the film but that was to be expected.
The middle story will be tough for me to read,
Spoiler:
So if you liked the film/series i'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

Wow, LoGH episode 83 just killed any ambition to watch more anime tonight. Manly tears ;_;

I was going to watch 5cm/s too.
