Can't sleep so i'm thinking a Ga-Rei: Zero or Hayate the Combat Butler! marathon might be happening soon. :L

Watch Kuragehime.

SHAFT working on an original anime with Aoki Ume as an artist. Not to mention Maria Holic S2 just got greenlighted. Plus all that stuff I mentioned earlier (Yumekui Merry, Usagi vampire thing)... GODDAMN. First the win that is this autumn, and now all this crap I have to look forward to. Can it be like 5 years from now so I can just marathon all this win? ;A;

A boys club? :L

I decided to make some leek and potato soup at 4am instead of watching those shows. Dayum i'm a good cook.

Anyway, onto todays anime.

----

Edit - Starts watching Ef, Shaft's animation style really doesn't suit this type of story. It was perfect with Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Bakemonogatari and Under the Bridge but it doesn't seem to work here. Oh well, early days i guess.

Edit 2 - AIKa R-16: Virgin Mission....pahahaha.

Edit 3 - Kame ha me ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to be the one that says that! Well, I was expecting it. Every series they make has a sequel or so. I'm pretty sure SoreDemo will also have one. But I doubt Bund will. xD, I love SHAFT.

I'm going to try to finish off Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku wo today. Then, perhaps the last four subbed episodes (21-24) of Yes Precure 5 or start the Tamayura OVA, which FINALLY got some sub groups working on it.

I'll finish off the three remaining episodes of Ookami-san tomorrow then start on REC this weekend. Afterwards, Trapeze. And one of these days I'll finish Ouran...

Let me know what you think of REC once you finish. I've kinda had my eye on it for awhile.

Haha to go with the rest of the odd anime recently i've found a new one i have to watch. Midori no Hibi.

"High school delinquent Seiji Sawamura is desperate to have a girlfriend, especially after being rejected by 20 girls as of late. He's afraid that he will end his life with his right hand as his only companion. Apparently, that doesn't change when one day when he wakes up and discovers that his right hand has become a girl named Midori Kasugano, who confesses that she has had a crush on him for the last three years"

Who the hell comes up with these ideas. I mean this is weirder than Chobits and Rozen Maiden and they have human x doll relationships.

And just found out about Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Next Season xD..the first season, however tragic is still one of my all time favourite anime. The second season is similar to the "other world" clannad episodes so it could be hit or miss. I kinda hope i don't prefer the more idealistic version of the ending but i'm a bit of a sucker for that sort of thing so i probably will :L

I just picked up Amagami SS, and it was incredible! :D The arcs keep getting better and better, though the male protagonist is kinda weird, lol. I finished watching episode 13, the start of the fourth arc, and it looks promising from the beginning.

Anyway, I have a huge want-to-watch list, most are mecha and romance anime. Anyone seen any good ones recently?

Is it just me, or is this place a total boys' club?
Not everyone is a boy :o I may not be :P

Romance:
5 Centimeters per Second
Clannad
Princess Lover!
Omamori Himari

Romance is something i can recommend;

. Clannad and Clannad: After Story as Char★ said.
. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien
. 5 Centimeters per Second
. Koi Kaze
. Toradora!
. True Tears
. Karin (Chibi Vampire)
And some where Romance is a sub-genre;
. Bakemonogatari
. Rosario + Vampire & Rosario + Vampire Capu2
. To LOVE-Ru & Motto To LOVE-Ru
. Angel Beats!
. Zero no Tsukaima

All of those i've scored at least 8/10.

And for Mecha i can only recommend Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann as it's the only one i've liked.

Is Angel Beats! actually considered a romance now?

Dammit Char. We all know you're male. There's no use hiding it. You will never be a trap. :V
I...I don't want to be a trap....and I think I know if I'm male or not ;D

For me it had enough romance elements (even if it took a while you could always see romance happening). I have to admit it is the smallest of the sum genres :L

Oh, well I wouldn't really consider it romance, but thats my opinion. I'm currently watch Ookami-san, but after that its Sola. Anyone seen it?

Not seen Sola but it looks pretty cute.

Hmmm, unless i catch a second wind i don't think i'm going to be watching anything too heavy or intelligent tonight. Started watching ef - a tale of memories., Shaft...Y U Use panels all the time? :(...so i guess if anything i'll watch Hayate!, Zero no or Ikkitousen....no brain cells needed to watch xD

Tried watching Ikkitousen, turned out to be to weird for me so I stopped, ef interests me but I'd like more info on it :x

Wouldn't of imagined Ikkitousen to be weird, isn't it just fighting and fan service? :L

I've only seen the first 5 episodes of ef - and they have been pretty good. From Shaft so you have the Panels, effects and nicely worded speech. There are a few stories running so far, all most probably romance/friendship related. My favourite one so far is about a girl who due to an accident she loses her memory every 13 hours and the troubles that causes. I think it could be a very good anime.

---
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Next Season was the more fairytale/cliché ending, not as much impact as the original but it certainly didn't ruin my second favourite Romance/drama/tragedy.
