The band that did the music for FLCL...yeah, very awesome.

I've been streaming that into my head for... a while.

That, and Jinn. :D

Yeah, I need a taste in music. T_T

I'm currently listening too the awesome Panty & Stocking soundtrack, some of the tracks are actually pretty damn good. Gainax certainly know how to put together an OST.

Watching Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (Killer lolis are so moe~ :DDDDDDDD) five feet away from a five year old.

Man, I'm responsible.

Ironically, she's too glued to Nihao, Kai-Lan to notice...

That reminds me of when my uncle would let me play Mortal Kombat and GTA when with him when my mum was out ^^

I really need to watch Kai. Loved the first season. :)

Not a spoiler, just a big pic xD
Spoiler:

Hmmmm do you think the cute exterior to the characters makes the psycho moments more shocking?...i wish they had done it a little more seriously but oh well.

WTF?!?!? You've been trolling this entire time or you're a hypocrite!

He was speaking ironically in that post ;)....my sarcasm detector actually blew up.

Hmmmmm what to watch today. I kinda want to finish Jigoku Shoujo but can't be bothered. :/

I say it again:

I don't mind moe, but I hate it when it's the main point of a series.

As was pointed out, I'm a horrific snob who likes to see anime as a brilliant exercise in-

Okay, no.

But Higurashi...

Sure, I guess you could say it's a moe show. And then you could watch past the first few episodes.

And besides, I honestly haven't seen any moe moe moments for... quite a few episodes. Too many people getting brutally beaten to death.

So... if it makes you feel better, just think of it as trolling. :D

Actually, just for y'all's entertainment, let me post a list of my favorite shows.

Code Geass, Azumanga Daioh, Paranoia Agent, Lucky Star, Higurashi, FLCL, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

And some not-so-favorites, but I still enjoyed them. Sorta.

Serial Experiments Lain, K-On! (Though this was probably tainted by the fact that I'd been infected by the millions of people complaining about K-On!), One Piece, Naruto

And some shows I hated:
Dokuro-chan, Shattered Angels, Steel Angel Kurumi, Nuku Nuku (Five seconds. Quickest any show has ever driven me away.), Excel Saga.

Yep, yep.

That reminds me of when my uncle would let me play Mortal Kombat and GTA when with him when my mum was out ^^

It's a good summer series.

Like, you know those short, mindless action movies that consist of nothing but explosions and cheesy dialogue?

Sorta like that.

I dunno, Riki-Oh was much more enjoyable to me than K-On! XD especially so for K-On!! since that accomplished what K-On! already did in twice the amount of time. (though personally, I was more drawn to it for the music than anything)

K-On! and K-On!! were both good mindless anime. They took me ages to get through because i try to limit my sweet as sugar anime a little but if there was another series i would watch. I'm actually quite looking forward for the film xD

Anyway, finished he first season of Jigoku Shojo this morning and the last 6 episodes were really a class above the rest. Getting to see Enma Ai in berserk mode was pretty hilarious ^.^

K-On! I was fine with because they packed a good 5 songs into a 13 episode series (not counting OP/ED). K-On!! I wasn't. They packed 5 songs into a 26 episode series, had maybe 2-4 good episodes, and was pretty dull for the rest of it.

I...don't know what to expect of the K-On movie. Rather, I know what to expect, and I don't like it, especially since K-On doesn't actually have any plot-heavy parts like Haruhi does. What I'm generally expecting: Beach, Festival, Clubroom, maybe 5 minutes of music.

Decent day for new anime, not quite as good as i was expecting but decent.

IS: Infinite Stratos - Would you look at that a guy going to a school that only girls attend? never. Anyway no unique characters in episode one, tsundere childhood friend, rich blonde foreigner and an abusive sister. Oh there's something about mechas which usually only women can control as well. Art is on the moe side and the animation isn't really anything to write home about. Middle of the road even for me.

Yumekui Merry - Well this was a little surreal, dream worlds, a cat army and a guy who can see coloured auras around people *scratches head*. Anyway the character design was nice although I felt the animation was not up to usual J.C. Staff standard. Has potential to be a fun one i guess.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica - Saving the best for last. Not a lot was revealed in episode one although you can sense that it is going to be darker than your average Mahou Shoujo. So far it has everything you'd expect from Shaft in excellent music, top voice acting talent, panels and nice character design. I had high hopes ans was not let down, bring on episode 2.

On the same note, the two already aired Mahou Shoujos seem to be darker than your average mahou shoujos, which is always nice.

Infinite Stratos....Let's just say I hope they break into the major series conflict sooner than later on this one. Harem is nice and all, but please don't focus too much on the harem part unless there's going to be some actual development that lasts...Totally looks like Cosmic Break: The Anime though XD

Well now, when I get my internet back I'll definitely need to check out Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica (It's already "Plan to Watch" on my MAL). I'll watch just about anything mahou shoujo, even if it has darker themes... as long as it isn't too dark.

I also like the character designs that I've seen from the promos thus far.

Gosick - Best first episode of the season so far. Mystery/detective anime are not to common and ones that add in subtle humour and have nice art are even rarer. As i've said the art is nice (especially like the period clothing), the animation is nice as you'd expect of bones and the characters are actually unique for once.

Well that's 5 anime from this season i'm watching and there are still a few more that have caught my interest :/....... Anime>Sleep

Beh, when I get to college, I'm going to live the life of watching anime more frequently... -_-

Everyone's like "I WATCH 10 SHOWS AT ONCE!"

I'm like, "I've been chipping away at this one for a month...

EDIT: Higurashi, you confuse me. And not even in ways you're supposed to.

Wait, here thar be spoilers up to Episode 5.
