Speaking of Super Hero Time, Gokaiger starts next week. Super excited for this.
 
Finished Haruhi 2009! and yeah, it wasn't even worthy of standing in the first seasons shadow for 12 of the 14 episodes. I have to admit this series only compounded my Hatred of Suzumiya Haruhi, honestly why do people like her? Looking forward for the film though.

Kyon in episode 13 = epic.
 
^ I see no reason to hate her... she's certainly not my favorite character/show though.

Kyon is definitely a pretty awesome character though.

One of the only 3 redeemable episodes that whole season had. The other two being Endless Eight VIII and Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody. o3o

Pissed off Kyon was one of the moments of both series, other than that i enjoyed the ending. ALso one of the endless eight episodes looked nicer than the rest, sfx, animation and the colour balance was different. Can't remember what one but it was better than the rest.

Indeed on to the film, the only bad thing about it is after an all nighter and a busy morning i don't think i'll have the concentration to watch a 160+ minute film today. I'll use my anime viewing time to get up to date with Star Driver and maybe Hayate! or some PreCure.

I honestly think Endless Eight might have been received a bit better if the 8 episodes were jumbled up in the original broadcast. It would have saved people watching the same thing 8 episodes in a row and growing more tired of it. That said, it wouldn't have been much better, but it would have been somewhat better.
 
No, just no. Endless 8 was a good episode. EPISODE, not episodes. I think KyoAni likes to troll people. E8 should have been 2 episodes at most. Seriously, that's just a waste of resources. They should have animated other chapters of the novel. I mean 4 years and still at book 4?
 
I think it should be have been a mix of the two last posts. Less episodes and in a more mixed up order. I liked the concept behind the arc but it could have worked just as well with 4 - 6 episodes, endless four/six hardly sounds as catchy as eight mind.

I've never felt that KyoAni are a company that like to troll, I'd say that arc was the first time they have. I refuse to acknowledge peoples thoughts that Clannad's ending was trolling, it just wasn't. I've seen a fair few of their anime but have never been left annoyed with them.

Thaaaat's because you haven't been keeping up on what they do while they're not airing stuff. They've done announcements on Haruhi season coming soon too many times to count, as well as teasing Disappearance a year or two before it actually came out (in theaters, before the 2nd season, even), not actually announcing the second season coming out, and trying to sneak it into the lineup, endless eight, K-On!!. The only thing I really respect the most about them is when they do Key stuff, and even then, they're not picking up Little Busters! despite it having been out for a good 2-3 years (and that's the EX version at that).
 
It could still be Endless Eight.

The 8 still has two other meanings besides the episode count. :U

Also, I'm not that big into KyoAni. They make pretty pictures and the stuff I've seen from them are nice, but that's really all. o3o
 
Do you think they will pick up Little Busters? I've read some of the manga but that hasn't gotten into any drama yet. Does it have the depth that both Clannad and Kanon do?

The thing about sneaking 2009 into the lineup, it's better that than hyping a series which is obviously inferior. I find it hard to get mad at KyoAni as i loved so many of their shows.... on that topic i wonder if Nichijou will be any good.

The main arc doesn't have the baww factor Clannad had, but still pretty good nonetheless.

Also, that ordinance bill is restricted to Tokyo last I knew. Besides that, the last time they passed something like this, it flopped horribly.
 
I think I just converted to downloading anime...

If I use my second computer, that I never actually use, to download over the night, I should be able to get 10 or so HD episodes a night. The problem before was simply not wanting to go all day without internet, since it takes like 1-2 hours per episode... and I didn't want to run a computer all day and night.

I still probably wouldn't bother, but I had to stop watching K-on, Ika Musume, TWGOK, and Sora no otoshimono forte, half way through them, because I couldn't find any more on youtube. At the very least, I want to finish those. lol
 
You must live in a bad internet area, in 5 hours i downloaded a 16.4gb Fairytail batch file and a 3.62gb Squid Girl torrent. But yes Torrents>Streaming. If you wanted to stream though there are loads of sites other than Youtube that update daily.
 
No you. Livestream, ustream, or any other bona fide streaming sites are the only "good" streaming sites. Watching live anime is the only good streaming. Animefreak.tv doesn't even support the industry like CrunchyRoll or Hulu. Why would you promote people do things a crappy way?
 
I would rather use a host/stream site like animefreak or animefushigi over the true streaming sites. Never been a fan of Crunchyroll and i can't get Hulu in my country. If you feel guilty for it you could do what i do and just buy the anime that you really love, i mean i'd rather have the box sets than just the files from crunchy or whatever. I do the same thing with music and films as well.
 
The reason I use youtube to stream, is because it has, by far, the best quality. Most of the other streaming sites I see are still stuck at 360p, and I can watch youtube in 1080 (Of course, at my speed I'm stuck with 720p.)

And now that there's no timelimit, the new anime isn't being split into parts.

I download at 165 kbps. Our ISP offers a much faster speed, but won't let us actually have it for whatever reason.

Alright, PokeCommunity, I have a request to lay down at your feet...

Seeing as we're all anime fans here, though we all have wildly varying interests... I figured this'd be the best place to ask this. So... Here goes...

What iTouch games would appeal to an anime fan?

This means that the art style, plot, etc. are all something someone like me would enjoy.

And none of that... Weird psuedo-Japanese-but-not-really-and-the-artist-was-probably-stoned stuff, either. -_-
 
ah, makes sense QK, i've never tried to watch anime on youtube. Just use it for songs and openings ect.

Ans sorry don't have a clue about the games. For soem reason i'm yet to get into the VN scene, infact the only Japanese games i've played would be console games from Konami. I never liked Final Fantasy or any others so I guess i won't be much help here.
