Yeah, sometimes a mess with your head anime is great. That reminds me I should really watch Ergo Proxy and Lain soon. Not now though, don't feel like anything dark. Cute girls doing cute things is enough for me today.
 
I've never liked really super wacky stuff, and I especially don't like horror anime.

I love wacky...and although there isn't a lot of horror anime i am a fan. I don't think i've been truly scared of an anime yet. I'd love to find a truly scary anime.

Something's been on my mind for a little while now. How can an anime aimed primarily at little girls have such awesome fight scenes? I guess they do have other audiences but some of these are much better than the average Shonen fight.

Yes, Last Order steals 10032's visor. Next episode starts Church vs. Academy City, starting with Accelerator, if I recall correctly.

Madoka's great. That and Gosick are easily my favourites of the season so far,

Somehow Freezing, the no plot fanservicathon is starting to really grow on me. All of the characters have been done before, i mean kid with amazing latent power and shy misunderstood girl are the two leads but somehow it's still good. I'm glad the gore was toned down a bit after week one though.
 
I plan on keeping up with Madoka and Suite Precure this season. Maybe Kimi ni Todoke season 2 if time allows, but if not I'll be getting to it eventually.

On an unrelated note I also just ordered three different series from Right Stuf and those will have to do when I can't get online for the new shows.

You mean Madoka and IS. I actually planned on watching Gosick but.. it confused me. D:

And first place for best anime this season goes to: Puella Magi Madoka Magica!
 
I tried Stratos and it was average. For a typical harem the main guy seems like a bro though. I've decided to follow that manga instead, annoyingly it's only at chapter 4 mind.

And as long as your sister doesn't start with the "Nipah~" you'll probably be fine. ^_^

If my sister ever stands in front of me, spreads her arms out in front of me, and says, "Let's go, then..." in a mildly scary voice, I'll drop my machete and run the other way.

Have you finished Kai btw?...It ended up being one of my favourite series ever. Along with After Story, NHK! and Requiem For The Phantom it got 10/10.
 
My favourite anime is and has been for a very long time Castle in the Sky.

Then Cowboy Bebop.

Followed closely by Gurren Lagann.

Which is proceeded by One Piece Film: Strong World.

And my top five is capped off by The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.
 
My favourite anime is Konjiki no Gash Bell,

followed by Toradora,

after that, One Piece.

Angel Beats comes right after.

Favorite anime? I don't think I could actually make a list... but if I were to pick 5 favorites off the top of my head, they would be, in no particular order:

Lucky Star
Umisho
Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai
Seitokai Yakuindomo
K-On

If I thought about it for awhile longer, I might have some different choices though.

Mmm, way too hard to pick my favorites, and I know a lot of my "favorites" really shouldn't be (Lucky Star, for example... -_-), but...

Nostalgia, chronological order, and level of escapism distort my vision too much.

Hmm.

Holy Trinity (You Never Forget Your First): Code Geass, The Melancholy Haruhi Suzumiya (Say what you will about the anime, but the LNs are brilliant), Azumanga Daioh

Secondary Trinity (Shows that are at least as good as the Trinity): Angel Beats!, Paranoia Agent, FLCL

Really, Really Good (Shows that I care about a month after watching): Higurashi no Naku Koro ni***, K-On!*** (Animation-wise, it was pretty solid. And I really needed fluffy escapism that year. Also, the music redeems it), Touhou: Mosou Kakyou (Considering the fact that it's made by a circle of fans... Yeah, it's pretty good. Episode 2 has been announced!)

Worth Watching Once (Good shows that lack anything meriting a rewatch): Serial Experiments Lain, Lucky Star, Ghost in the Shell: SAC, Read or Die, Death Note**, Hayate the Combat Butler*, Detective Conan*, Pokemon (First season was the Shi'ite), .hack//SIGN, FullMetal Alchemist* (Enjoyed the manga more, never finished either), R.O.D. The TV*, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes

Why Did I Watch These?: Nuku Nuku (Quit three seconds in. Holds the record for the fastest-dropped anime I've ever seen), Shattered Angels, Steel Angel Kurumi, Disgaea, Dokuro-chan
