As most DBZ fans would say, read it. Don't watch it. Toei had no clue what they were doing when they needed filler. It didn't end well. Feel free to watch Kai. Kai is awesome sauce. Dubbed too. BEST FUNi OPENING AND ENDING EVER.

I <3 DRAGONBALL -Eiichiro Oda

I definitely did enjoy it, but I can never manage to keep up with things on TV, because I have to record it in the living room, which my parents occupy 23.9999999/7. So, I ended up losing interest.

I had like 40 episodes of shows backed up on there that I was finally able to watch pretty much all at once, because my parents have been gone a lot lately. lol

Why anybody would want to willingly subject themselves to Noir is beyond me. It's boring, pretentious, poorly written, self-indulgent garbage.

Can't really comment as i've only seen 2 episodes, i have enjoyed those two though. Love the character design, action and the music is awesome. A kind request, please remember people are all different and not many will share your superior tastes. Thanks.

Wow, and I thought Star Driver had only leveled up it's fabulous factor a little, even the characters are noticing the fabulous factor now

I know right.

Well, Jack does support the industry more than most of us pirates, as most if not all of his list is made up of licensed shows. I think he has more of a say as a consumer as to what is bad than the rest of us.

Yes. I'm aware I'm retconning my past statements.

...Totally.

Anyway, definitely not just putting this sentence here because i'm not sure of the minimum words per post rule but Fairy Tail seems good and Gintama, I don't know why i put that on hold at 10 eps in the first place. Funny, funny show.

I thought about watching Gintama... the only reason I haven't is that I've always hated those uber-long shows in the past. I mean, I like shows that have no plot, like Lucky Star, but when the show is supposed to have a plot, I want to see that plot, and nothing but that plot.

Does Gintama actually have much in the way of fillers? If not, I guess I'll try it.

Gintama IS filler really. There is no plot other than an occasional arc, and even then it's not really part of any overarching plot. It's basically a Shounen Lucky Star that goes on forever.

Gintama is a Shounen Comedy, so no real filler cuz there's no real plot

Also, Happy Valentines to all you ronerys out there

You said you liked Lucky Star so I'd think you'd enjoy the parody element of Gintama. Can't really add a lot more but yeah, after only 14 episodes I'd highly recommend it.

I saw this picture.
Spoiler:

And realized that I should read more 20th Century Boys and Monster. :U

Because they're both rather good.

I'd recommend it to you gaiz too. I'M SO HAPPY I GOT THOSE MONTHS OF SUPERCHANNEL. n_n

On topic. Gintama is lolz and nothing else. It's largest problem and greatest strength. Weird.

Up to episodes 5 of both Noir and Darker than Black, both pretty good. Expected more of DtB and less from Noir but both have potential. I'm actually watching a dub of Noir, i love the spy movie style European accents. :L

Anyone in here seen either of them? does DtB pick up?

Lol, I thought that myself. Takuto probably has one of the least masculine voices in the show, although the same voice actor sounds even more feminine in Pokemon and KnT2s. :L

o__o <-- Madoka day taday. :)

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one looking forward to watching Madoka weekly.

That's quite random Pixy. I know a lot of comedy doesn't transfer over well but there are a few really good funnies about.

Those would be two of my favourite funny scenes, comedy is only a sub genre in each but that doesn't make it any less amusing.

I don't watch too much anime that qualifies as comedy.

I was keeping up with Madoka every week, but I've slacked off and now I'm a couple episodes behind... should I catch up next week or just marathon the episodes I haven't seen yet once it's completed?

One series I will keep up with religiously this season is Suite Precure. Cure Rhythm = win.

And my order from Right Stuf came in so I have three more series I can watch during those times I can't get online :P

So, I just started Durarara. I know absolutely nothing about it, other than it has an awesome opening, and I heard some people talking about how it made them wish real life was more exciting.
