Am I the only one who predicted everything that happened in Infinite Harem Stratos?

Lol at this guy in MAL: Ichika gets more BADA** HAREM HERO points this episode...he was super pimpin. Naked bath, kiss, and asking a girl on date....ALL in the SAME EPISODE, with 3 DIFFERENT GIRLS!!!

Of course not. Even from the beginning, I've been looking at the ending. You know, besides it having been pretty obvious from the beginning. The only thing that deviated was when miss transfer student changed into the new roommate, and even then it only changed the target.

Note: That was the most 'Meh' opening I've ever seen. Visually and musically, it's generic.

In other news, if any of you haven't watched Castle in the Sky, I strongly recommend it. It isn't a matter of taste or genre. It's a Ghibli film, universal enjoyment, best anime ever and so much more. n_n

First 16 seconds: Flange and title card. Ignoring the in-joke and the pink chainsaw, I would've changed the channel by then.

17 - 40: Main characters standing, with text on chainsaws lightly explaining them.

41 - 48: Small buildup for explosive last 30 seconds.

49 - 1:04: Larger buildup with a few more still frames of characters. One of them gets chopped in half, probably the least predictable things in the opening.

1:05 - 1:30: ACTION SEQUENCE AND SINGER STARTS SINGING LOUDER AND FASTER. Contrasting the first minute or so. This is done everywhere from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood to F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu. It's nothing special. Also, through the whole thing, the singer sounds so bland. She isn't pouring her heart and soul into the song. In terms of soul and passion, Hironobu Kageyama pulls it of LOT better.

To sum up my points, this opening is visually and musically uninspired and I am not crazy for thinking so.

Note: I don't normally nitpick openings like this, I saw all of this on the first glance and was thoroughly unimpressed. I just thought of all of the reasons I didn't like it and organized them.

There haven't been too many great openings or endings this season in my opinion.

Off the top of my head the Gosick ending is probably my favourite.

I don't mind the ZDK opening, not brilliant not terrible.

I challenge you to find a better insert piece than this though (that is this season of course)

Just read that To Love-Ru! Darkness is getting an anime *adores*.

If it wasn't for Yoko Hikasa singing the ED, I wouldn't even watch this. Not to say that I don't like it though.

I'd say that Madoka has a good OP/ED this season, but I'm only just watching about 4 animes.

Dragon Crisis OP is good, Hocchan. <3
I don't know about the anime itself though.

Only 4?, i'm watching 13 (only about half of those are from this season mind, and i'm not yet up to date with Fairy Tail)...I'm a bit more busy now than was at the beginning of the season so i'll try and cut down a bit next season. *doubts I will though*

I like the simple Madoka ending, good song, simple animation and nice effects. I can't recall the opening off the top of my head though. :L

Was there so many anime airing on the winter season? Only watching Madoka, Infinite Stratos, Kore wa Zombie desu ka, Kimi ni Todoke S2. I guess Fairy Tail if you count it.

I actually also planned to watch Onii-chan no Koto, Beezlebub, Cardfight Vanguard, and Dragon Crisis.

dropped Onii-chan no Koto since I never had interest.
on-hold for Beezlebub since I plan to watch it sometime near, or far in the future.
dropped Cardfight Vanguard since the main character is a wuss.
dropped Dragon Crisis since I didn't have the interest to watch a plot heavy anime.

EDIT: Oh, hai! You're watching Ichigo Mashimaro. that show is so cute, I re-watched it several times. I guess the loli-taxi interested you?

There was a lot of anime this season although i'mn only watching 6 or 7 that started this season. I did try most of them at the start but have stopped most of them.

My watching list is like this atm;

Bakuman -
Bleach - Just about to go into endless filler.
Fairy Tail - Not up to date but will be soon.
Fractale -
Freezing -
Gosick - will be running next season as well.
Infinite Stratos -
Kimi ni Todoke 2nd Season -
Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica -
Naruto: Shippuuden -
Pokemon Best Wishes - Will be endless as par.
Star Driver -
Suite Precure♪ - Probably going to run for 50ish eps.

Also trying to get through the original Precure, Gintama, Ichigo Mashimaro and Cowboy Bebop atm. :L

I don't think there have been as many good animes as the Autumn season.
I'm probably enjoying Gosick the most. I didn't expect too much out of Madoka at first, but it's actually proven to have a fairly deep storyline, with interesting plot twists.
Kimi ni Todoke S2 makes me nostalgic. It's just as slow and frustration as the first series, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless.
I dropped Beezlebub, I think I'd prefer watching it in one sitting.
Vanguard, is slow and I'm not a big fan of the characters, I will probably drop it, some time soon.
Infite Stratos, surprisingly, if you can put up with the constant harem, then it's not too bad. I don't think I'll drop it, but I wouldn't say that it's my favourite.
I haven't bothered to watch Level E, Freezing or Dragon Crisis since the first episode of each. They didn't impress me.

Yes, that's exactly it. IS isn't bad, but it's really quite generic.
Bakuman -
Why? The manga is so much better. And to think that I was looking forward to it being animated, and by JC Staff no less. It's disappointing. Slow paced, and the like. I'm reading the manga though.

I don't think KnTs2 has been that good, i think it'll be ok from now on but the first season was far better.

Good to see another Gosick fan, it was my favourite untill the latest episodes actually. Madoka overtook it (saying that Madoka is coming to it's climax where as Gosic is only coming to it's midway point)

IS is fun, the most generic show ever but somehow it's entertaining. Freezing is fanservice and fighting, the plot hasn't shown itself yet so i'm kinda expecting a season 2.

Level E has had a lot of good reviews, i was told it was "Gintama funny", being that i'm only 1/8th of the way through Gintama I decided not to bother with it.

Next seasons chart, anything caught your eye here?
Spoiler:

Edit - I'm also reading Bakuman, I'm mainly watching for Hattori's facial expressions. xD

Aside from the sequels like Maria Holic: Alive and TWOGK, I'm thinking of watching:

Deadman Wonderland - I heard so much great things about this manga, but I didn't have the interest to read it itself. Maybe I'll do it like what I did with TWOGK, watch anime, then read manga.

Sket Dance - I remember reading this manga, but.. I forgotten. It's a shounen-based anime, so going to watch.

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko - It's SHAFT. Same reason I watched Madoka, and Soredemo Machi (although I read the manga just days before the showing of this anime).

Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal - oh, what the heck. I watched Cardfight right?

Oretachi ni Tsubasa - Comedy for me.

You should definitely check Deadman Wonderland out, it's a bit bloody but it really is awesome, easily one of my favourite manga. I kinda have a bad feeling about the anime, if it's censored too much it'll lose it's edge.

I'm thinking;
Nichijou - It's KyoAni so i'll check it out.
Gintama - When i'm finished the first 200 eps.
TWOGK s2 - The next set of captures are my favourites.
Ao No Exorcist - Looks interesting, if i wasn't reading so much atm i'd check check out the manga.
Dempa whatever - It's Shaft....i hope it isn't just a fanservice show though.
Steins;Gate - Looks awesome.

I'll probably try a few more but those were my early thoughts.

Crap, forgot about Steins;Gate. I really should finish watching Chaos;Head. the reason I watched it since it reminds me of TWEWY, though only because it's set in Shibuya. XD

Lol, Chaos Head. The bad thing about that was it was actually trying to be serious, I'll admit I did kinda enjoy it but wow. :L

I wonder how long it'll be before we get another Clannad After Story / Welcome To The NHK! tier anime though. Nothing in the last few seasons, and it seems nothing next either. :/
