100% agree, i liked her most even before she went all Noah's arc yesterday.

spoilering because i doubt everyone here has seen the last couple of eps.

I'm presuming her saying she wishes she'd never met him is because then she would never have liked him and Sugata would never have gotten jelly and joined the crux. Or that's what she'll think anyway.

I think he's gone anti-hero and joined to help take them down from the inside. I've also never really liked him it just seems like something that would happen.

Mirai Nikki's ending, I liked it but i have to lol. I guess any manga with a character named Deus Ex Machina has potential for that.

Misread the price for FLCL: turns out it was £15, not £25, so straight into my hands and out of the shop it went. Have watched the first two episodes so far and it's interesting at least... I'm guessing I'll make up my mind once I've seen them all, but 'interesting' is what I'm going with for the time being.

What's going on here then?

I'm guessing it's Japan going "nice boat" all over again being over sensitive with the content they air, wouldn't be surprising if "earthquake", "surf" or something else similar was shown. Although if I was in such a mental state that I'd take offence to a cartoon I probably wouldn't be watching the cartoon in the first place.

It's been toooo long since I last watched an anime. I'm thinking of trying out this Winter's collection. I heard they're really good. And really bad. I don't know, really.

Any recommendations for a show that stood out from the rest, guys?

I cannot buy or download a lot, so I want to watch at least one or two anime. ><

I guess i'll suggest Madoka, Fractale and Gosick as they've been my favourites.

I love having all essays complete. xD

Just watched the first three Kara no Kyoukai films/episodes, loving the music and parts of the animation, really well done fights and sfx. Probably not going to continue that marathon tonight but switch over to "must see" anime movies. Whilst i'm still in the mood for them i'll watch one or two of Princess Mononoke, Sword of the Stranger, Castle In The Sky or Howl's Moving Castle. :)

Last episodes of Fractale and IS today/tomorrow, i will miss those.

I'd recommend Hourou Musuko but nobody seems to like it but me. And other weird people. You can't really go wrong with Madoka, though.

Actually, it would be better to suggest what you shouldn't watch--IS.

I watched the first episode and liked it. Decided to wait for blu ray though as i'm sure it'll have more impact like that. I'm also waiting for Blu Ray Merry, HD vagina bones.....Ok that isn't the real reason but yeah.

Hourou Musuko, I have no doubt is a good story. I just have problems with shows like Hourou Musuko, Koi Kaze, and Aoi Hana, that approach sexual taboos in a serious manner. In my view, the drama in these shows are blown up to the point when I've forgotten the main premise of the show. I felt that most of the development in Hourou Musuko is skipped, so I can't really grow attached to the characters (except for Chi), and that the crossdressing is used as a gimmick in an attempt to differentiate it from all the crazy relationship dramas shows.

Aoi Hana was too focused on dramas of one side character instead of the main character herself. Koi Kaze was just sad to watch. The transition from newly met siblings to INCEST was way too fast.

That aside, I still recommend Hourou Musuko and Madoka Magica. THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER might be my least favorite shows of this season, but THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER're still inherently better England than everything else this season. Those and Fractale.

Also, Hourou Musuko's OP and ED are amazing too, so yeah.

"J-E Hotel Room", PC April fools day trolling made this threads title better.

I loved Koi Kaze, didn't think it went too fast at all. For the most part I thought it felt pretty real, not the typical fairytale romance story you usually get at all. Good characters, development, music and the drama that didn't seem too forced (lots of "edgy" drama does imo) lead me to give that series a 8 or 9/10.

Finished Fractale and IS, enjoyed both of them. Fractale could have been so much better, even though he's a **** i'd like to see more Yutaka "saving anime" Yamamoto series.

I'd recommend watching IS after watching Madoka. I mean, that's the reason why IS is popular wasn't it?

Also, the end of IS... I was surprised at the kissing scene.

I thought it was a decent enough ending for a generic harem series tbh, it was obvious wh he'd end up with really.

I wonder what series will take IS's place as my generic harem of the season. I think there are a couple of eroge adoptions which could be either horrible or ok, you know how they usually go.
