What is wrong with fanservice? Seriously. Why does everyone hate fanservice?
I don't have a problem with fanservice if it's not shoved down your throat like HoTD or Samurai Girls

And I thought Nanoha's Starlight Breaker was overkill in the series, i'm pretty sure my TV screen was radiating energy from that. On a serious note, the A's movie is now well up there on my anticipating list.

1st Movie was great, the action was so well animated compared to the TV show.

I'm really excited for the A's movie.

I'm glad I've still got StrikerS as well as the Force and Vivid manga series to keep me going until A's release. Even though Nanoha isn't the most original mahou shojo out there it's still probably my favourite franchise or at least holding level with Sakura, beating titles like Precure and Sailor Moon and Madoka with ease.

StrikerS is pretty slow for about the first 16~ episodes with just being training and build up episodes, but then it's straight action after that.

I haven't read the manga series yet though, I'll just wait until they adapt them (hopefully they will)

What sets the series apart from other mahou shoujo is really the insane amount of firepower they have. Most mahou shoujo can't really compare. I guess there's also the part where Nanoha's the little sister of the protagonist of Triangle Hearts 3 (H-game)

And you haven't seen Nanoha with her blaster system yet ^^;;

I think the order was Nanoha, A's, StrikerS, Vivid, Force. Also, there's some stuff in the StrikerS manga that you don't see in the series (Nanoha vs. Signum). Really looking forward to the A's movie, though that's not scheduled til sometime in 2012 + waiting for DVD release time -_-. Guess I'll be waiting on the DVD release of Macross F - Sayonara no Tsubasa til then. And then HayaCon - heaven is a place on earth.

I like cloud porn so I'm also looking forward for Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo, If i remember correctly that was out a couple of weeks ago so DVDs around Christmas maybe? And then there's Kizumonogatari on it's way as well. Good times.

Is anyone else watching Dog Days?

It's not the best show by a long shot, but for some reason I'm loving it so far.

I just love how inconsequential it is. I mean there's no real sense of danger anywhere within the show. I kind of have a thing for a medieval setting as well; swords, armor, magic, and all that. That voice cast isn't something to scoff at either.

But yeah, you should feel bad. How dare you enjoy a kids show with moe moe characters?

I haven't checked it out yet but i remember looking at the voice cast pre season and thinking wow. What type of character is Ginga voicing?

I nearly forgot that Wakamoto was in this show until recently

Episode 5 was actually surpisingly good, I guess this is going to be my feel good show if they don't try to do melodrama with Pink Princess and Leo

Accidental harem, nothing new but keeps you watching, medieval setting and no real sense of danger. Zero no Tsukaima repackaged with dog ears? If i didn't have so many shows going already i'd probably try it.

The only thing that's similar with ZnT is the MC was transported to a fantasy world; other than that, it's not similar at all.

The harem hasn't played a big part on the show so far

Disappointment. Mouryou no Hako ended up kinda sucking. Plot that started out well got overly confusing and then the conclusion was both poor and poorly executed. It's only real plus points were the OST and it's overall appearance, very pretty series.

Also has anyone seen Kannazuki no Miko? Drama, Magic, Mecha, Romance, Shoujo Ai, Shounen, Supernatural....does this have the potential genres to be the best series ever?

Damn, I was gonna watch Kannazuki no Miko before you told me that... Weird thing is, it doesn't seem like a bad series just based on the AMV's I watched using the show...

Oh well, I've got two currently running shows (Suite Precure and Hanasaku Iroha) that I'm falling behind on...

Just because jpp8 hated that show doesn't mean you will. It just depends on how you interpret Chikane's character: "abusive and self-serving" or "stoic and selfless". That said, I'm more or less on his camp on this issue.

Blargh, I'm in the mood to not want to watch any new anime episodes again. I'd rewatch Clannad, but my drive is a little too filled at this point. orz

Next to no good shows air through the week so it doesn't matter about my airing backlog atm. I'm enjoying them but I can't force myself to watch Iroha, Gosick and a couple of others.

Damn, I'd rather watch a sweet series but whatever I'll still check it out eventually.
Spoiler:

I want to rewatch Clannad and Afterstory around Christmas time. I'll redownload them in 1080p once I have enough space on my hd, i believe i'm down to about 1.5gig. -.-
