Because for hundreds of years sex was labled as dirty, while violence was simply how you got things done. Old habbits die hard~ ;P

And wasn't sex always the way to get things 'done'? Or in other words to keep the human population stable? Even though in all fairness it isn't at all stable..for simple problems such as hunger and etc..

The point of an execution is to kill someone in result of actions they may have committed...and to make them wish they hadn't done it...killing them quickly is letting them off easily..but..making them suffer...now that's something..
