    Does anyone know what card this is and what it's worth. Thank you so much. Never had a Japanese card before.

    Unless it's a card exclusive to Japan, Japanese cards are generally worth less than their English counterparts. This one's been averaging about $5 on eBay this year, though about a third of those listings only went for around $1.

    I for one prefer the look of Japanese cards!

    Everything Alex posted is accurate, but I started writing this last night and accidentally fell asleep so I'm going to post it even if it's redundant. Sorry! ^^;;

    That is the non-holo Entei variant found in the American 2001 Neo Revelation series. This card did not receive a print in Japan for the original Legends Awakened (Japan's Neo 3) expansion, but it did see print later as an unnumbered promotional card featuring the Legends Awakened set symbol. Thus indicating that "promo Entei #244" is at part of the Legends Awakened set, and explaining why a year later it was included in the American Neo Revelation release. Basically, Japan made all of Legends Awakened, held back 10 cards from set's the public release, instead made them public as unnumbered promotional cards, and finally consolidated everything "canon" in Neo 3 to be released in English as the Neo Revelation full set we know now.

    Also saw a lot of confusion as to whether the set is called "Legends Awakened" or "Awakening Legends"? I don't know, I don't speak Japanese.

    I also saw wild fluctuations in pricing. The lowest I found for an ungraded NM card was $5, the highest ungraded I saw was a $29, but now I can't find the link to confirm, but I did discover an ungraded one for $10 in poor condition. Many of the other examples I found ranged from $60 to upwards of $150, all graded 8 or more. My suspicion is many people do not know what they have and are either inflating or underestimating the price. Could be the result of the Pokémon TCG bubble bursting too. Either way, before you sell anything, consider having it graded or otherwise report the card condition honestly.

    Good luck!

    Thank you so much. You're knowledge is greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful day and I hope you pull some Charizards. I'll be rooting for you.
