Jesse, James, and Meowth

i want to know more about Jesse's personal background. does anyone know what happened to her family? dont answer it. if theyve already clearded that out, then you can tell me that they did in what episode. (i havent watched all the episodes.)

Yeah, I think in "Snow Way Out" you learn about her mom. There's an episode with a Blissey and a Christmas Special with Santa that show her younger, too. Also, the somewhat recent "Crossing Paths" shows her as a preteen. And, then "Training Daze" is the inception of Team Rocket as we know, so I dunno if that counts. Sorry I can't be more specific on all of the episode titles.

I like the TR trio. I just wish they had better Pokemon and someone taught Meowth how to fight or have an episode centered around him where he has a revelation or something. So he can beat Ash's Pikachu to oblivion ._. Ash's Pikachu annoys me something fierce and Gligar should have never evolved.

I also like Team Rocket. In fact, I like their characters more than anyone elses. They all have interesting pasts and it's always nice to watch episodes that are based around them. I especially like James: a boy from a rich family who found freedom inside an evil organisation, and yet he's such a kind person. At least this is what I think of James. Jessie and Meowth are nice, too, but I've never really understood this Wobbuffet thing. It just says "Wooooooobbuffet!" and goes away.

However, I have been annoyed lots of times about the pattern repeated in almost every episode: Team Rocket says their motto, causes harm, fails and blasts off. They should try something new, but I just don't know what. Maybe they just wouldn't have to appear in every episode. But I definitely don't want them to leave the show, either. Besides, if they replaced Team Rocket with some other villains, I doubt it would change the pattern much.

I loved them more when I watch the movies or 1-3 series eppies they are are sooooooo funny!!!
Now they are funny but just plain funny.
*watches the end of pokemon:movie 2000!*
Jessie:We'll start our own team!
James:Thats good!
Meowth:But where do we get the money?
James:thats bad!
Jessie:We'll steal some!
James:That's good! Or is it bad???

I think part of the reason they're still there is because they're incompetent and will never achieve their goal and well this is good- somewhat
because if they were replaced... well they likely wouldn't follow the "brats" around and their characters would dissappear OR they'd like kill ash and co in one episode and take all the pokemon and series would be gone.
Also I love meowth, he's the only one besides the narrator to break the 4th wall and works so hard but achieves little- classic tragedy

One criticism though- if they were trying to be true to the game... team rocket shouldve been disperse years ago.. so I think they should run into team galatica and be recruited.

Yeah, they were hysterical in that movie! I was cracking up when I rewatched it recently! Pokemon 2000 is my favorite Pokemon movie, partly because Team Rocket was like dead on in that one. Now, sometimes's they're funny, but I have a feeling i would like their little rhyming chants better if I could understand them! Jessie's voice can get so squeaky!

Still, I totally agree with everyone who says they show more character development than even Ash. We still don't even know who his father is, yet we've seen James's GRANDPARENTS, for goodness sake!

I think team rockets plans are dumb. Man Giovanni needs to think

huh? Team Rocket is still on the show?

someone needs to change this overdue show already. Too much of the same thing... (what, is it on 700 episodes now?)

I agree with you and Squirturtle_, that movie is my favourite partly because of the Team Rocket's role in it. They actually DID something that mattered in it, and I've always loved the final comments. :D "That's good! Or is that bad?" I was so disappointed when I recently watched the newer movies: they didn't do a thing! Team Rocket just went along secretly in everything but in the worst case didn't even interact with the main characters at all! If they ask me, I'd love to see a movie based entirely on Team Rocket! Oh, that would be the best... *__* (like that would ever happen :P)

Well Im happy people are agreeing with me! They were dead funny(hahahahahahhahahaha)
Now they're just funny(haha)

Meowth: what if the boss finds out were good?
James:Thats bad!

could you please say "spoiler" on your posts when youre talking about future episodes? i live in the US. and i dont like spoilers

Haha that would be neat but unfortunately I think "Training Daze" might be the closest we ever get. But, if the reception of that episode was good, maybe we'll see another episode based on just them. Them+twerps=a little old sometimes, but them alone creates more focus on the group dynamic.

I like TR, they are actually the most entertaining characters in the show, anyways I think that they should have Pokemon that actually doesn't faint with just an attack of a Thunderbolt.
