Jirachi to Emerald

I told my friend I would send a Jirachi to his Emerald but I've tried using Pokemon Channel numerous times and it has not worked. A message keeps popping up saying he has not complete the Elite Four yet but he has.

Is it actually possible to send it directly to Emerald?

I know that there is some sort of device that trades Pokemon from GameCube games to GBA games, but it sounds like your friend has that.

Maybe he didn't beat the Elite 4 in Emerald yet, so he doesn't have the National Dex yet. And Jirachi is apart of the National Dex, not the Hoenn Dex, even though it's a Hoenn Pokemon.

You need the national dex. Definitely.

Otherwise I don't know what to tell you. Emerald did come after Channel though.

Erm... I checked the the Hall of Fame on his PC so he has beaten it. Also, it's not my game FYI.

I've tried sending Jirachi to Emerald and I've beaten the E4 AND gotten the National Dex, however it doesn't work. ._. I did it with Sapphire and it worked though.

So in answer to your question, R/S are the only two games you can link up to Channel in order to transfer a Jirachi. Hope this helps. ^_^

Thanks for confirming that. That's like the only reason why R/S owns Emerald. :D
