Johto....Again??? (Revived)

Okay xD Caps weren't really needed, but if they return to Johto, I'm pretty sure Ash might keep Chimchar/Monferno with him, meaning there wouldn't be much reason for Cyndaquil to return. Though, I do agree, it would be nice to have Cyndaquil return, I'm not sure about it evolving though. xD

well paul doesn't have a reason to go to johto because he already won all 8 johto badges.though i do hope we see more of him in whatever region gen 5 is in
 
Shinji could return to the Johto if he hears about a Battle Frontier there. It could open a new storyline between the rivalry of Shinji and Sotashi. Plus, we've seen that Shinji will be battling the Battle Pyramid Brain in a few episodes to come. There are many possiblilites in what can happen if the group decided to hit the road to Johto. xD
 
It could be nice if they'll return to Johto and make it as an healing experience. I'd like them to show the old Johto gym leaders, and maybe Wii and Karen if they'll do come back.
I hope ash will evolve his bayleef, and travel with totodile. It could be cool if ash will catch Jumpluff.
 
Its been confirmed, my friends. Japan release date for the GSDS remakes is around November 21st this year. International releases around mid-2010.

How can I tell we're due back to Johto in the anime?

Let's see: Gen 1 and Gen 3 were supposed to take the same amount of time in the games. When finished with the Ever Grande conference, Ash headed to Kanto for the Battle Frontier. Gen 2 and Gen 4 were to happen around the same time, after Gens 1 and 3.

Ash went from Hoenn to Kanto. Isn't it only right the site of the Platinum Battle Frontier be in Johto?
Another hint: In Movie 12, we're due to see the Johto starters. Normally, the movies will give us a few Pokemon set to appear in the next gen. Instead of new Pokemon, in the DP movie triolgy we get Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile.

Coincidence? I think not. The Battle Frontier anime season may have been two years after the release of FR/LG, but still (I'm using U.S. dates here). How much longer will Ash take to finish up his gym challenge, compete in the Sinnoh League, maybe challenge the Elite Four, and for Dawn to compete in the Grand Festival? Will it be around Novemberish? Maybe. We've got a ways to go folks, and Movie 12 is coming up in Japan.

So who will follow Ash back to Johto? Paul might with the opening of the Battle Frontier, but who knows. Brock, of course. May I doubt, seeing as she's in Johto right now. I bet Dawn will want to compete in the region May did, and there's no reason she can't follow Ash since May followed Ash to Kanto.

My overall prediction: Ash will head back to Johto and challenge the Battle Frontier, with Dawn challenging contests and Brock tagging along.
 
Seeing the games are confirmed, it doesn't necessarily mean they will go back. Though the Battle Frontier idea in Johto make more sense this way and could work out perfectly well. I would like to see it all, and maybe we'd be lucky enough to see another cameo from May, and maybe even Misty. Seeing Ash follow Paul to the Johto makes sense, and maybe with Paul battling Brandon from the Pyramid, could be a good enough hint for it all. xD
 
True, but doesn't have to always be xD Anywho, I expect for them to be going back to Johto all the more because of a new Battle Frontier...I'd like to go back because I want to see if anything has really changed as well...
 
As much as I don't want to see this...I know Ash will end up back in Johto -_- It all depends on how far Ash is in Sinnoh( I don't have cable, and don't really wanna watch them online, mainly because they tend to be in crap quality, so I don't know these things :P)

But...I dunno, I think there should be a new main character, and maybe go back to Ash for the 5th Gen(have some sort of time skip so maybe he's a bit older). Um...crap. I can never remember the names of those two from the beginning of Chronicles...>> But yeah, maybe have something involving them.

However, IF Ash does go back to Johto...It would be nice to see him bring back his old Pokemon. You know, Bayleef, Cyndiquil, Totodile, Noctowl...and maybe replace Dawn. Doubtful, but...

And maybe we could get some answers about Giovanni and Silver(and I KNOW he wont have that name if he's in the anime) supposed relation, eh? That might also mean something more can happen with Team Rocket. Like its collapse, or near collapse at least. I say this because of the events with Team Rocket in G/S/C.
 
For some odd reason, I enjoyed the Johto fillers. They're so much better than watching Pokemon contest strategies and Dawn acting like a spoiled brat when she loses. I would be ecstatic if they brought Johto back. If Misty were to come back, (although, that's very unlikely) I would pee my pants. :D I support the idea %100.
 
Ash, Brock, and Dawn will probably go back to Johto so the anime writers could advise the region for the games. I do not know about the filler that will be in it though.
 
If they use the Johto as a place to introduce the new Battle Frontier, then there will not be too many fillers like the BF Saga in Kanto. I too hope they do not mess up the Johto and at least take some time on it. xD

To speculate how the season will go, you should take a look at the first Battle Frontier saga. It was about a year's worth of episodes as well as temporary returns like Kasumi. This might signify that a certain Electabuzz Baseball team loving character may return.
 
Are you guys really sure it's true? Where did you find it?
