    Hi! Do any of you want to join my sprite comic that I'm going to make? This is the joining sheet:

    Oh yeah, if this isn't allowed can I atleast get 3 people?
     
    Hm, I've said this once before in another thread, but I shall say it again here:

    Hmm...a Cast Topic, topics like these are known to annoy people. It would be best if you PM certain people rather than making a thread for the sole purpose of inviting people to be in your comic.

    However, it would show how creative you are if you make your own characters, the sprites don't truely have to be perfect, but it shows that you're less lazier than what some viewers may think/say. Atleast you'd try to put in even more of an effort for the sake of your comic, then it would gain more respect than it would get through just inviting people in. Also, using other peoples' characters in your comic may be a little uneasy in terms of keeping their personalities on the spot, so you could please their spriters, whilst if you create your own characters, you have full control over them.

    Past threads like these have been known to jump into flame wars, so I summarized my knowledge about them. It's something that you might need to be aware about. Good luck finding people, but be cautious if you ever make topics like this in the future.

    But one time I saw this guys thread and you posted on it and told him the same thing but he still got 3 people. I was wondering after I get 3 people you can close it.
     
    Well for one thing, in my opinion Cast topics only clutter the forum. Make a thread to show your comics only, not to invite people into your comic.

    Also, I don't recommend following what certain people did in the past.

    Well, topics like these have a history of flame wars. I could bring you an example of a thread that has, but I wish for you to trust what I say. I shall be thinking about a rule against Cast Topics. But until then, I don't really recommend making one.
