Jon MINUS Kate Plus Eight? The Divorce Speculation

    If any of you tuned in to TLC's Jon and Kate Plus Eight yesterday, Jun.22/09, you probably heard about their BIG announcement.

    The episode started out with the making of the kid's Crooked Houses. as you saw, Jon and Kate had little to no contact with each other.

    After that, the couple started talking about all the troubles they had been having the past few seasons.

    Everyone speculated that the couple would end their T.V series or take a break from the big screen.

    It was a shock to everyone when they announced a sepoeration. no one could of seen that.

    After a 10-year marriage, having 8 kids, remarring in Hawaii last summer, going to many great places that it would end like this.

    The couple have said that the will have seperate times with the kids, but will be together on holidays. Thery also hope they can at lkeast form a "friendship" over time.

    What do you think? Will the T.V series thrive or will it fall?
     
    I heard about there divorce on the news once and I saw it online. I didn't really watch this so much but I did see 1 episode. It's kinda shocking how they are breaking up but I'm not so sure about what will happen to the show but I hope they can work things out and I wish them good luck anyway.

    It was wasn't a huge surprise that they ended up with the divorce; however, I think they still should have tried to hold the marriage even if it meant to cancel the show. Really the show ruined there marriage probably by letting Jon see how Kate bosses him around. Instead of him confronting her, he ran to another woman and then it made this mess even worse than before.

    I blame Jon mostly though. He should TRY to be more PARENTING like Kate. Maybe they sHOULD of cancelled the show. Could of made a difference.

    He was trying to be a better parent, but Kate practically shot him down at his opportunity. Actually more like humiliating, but whatever.
     
    I think its going to fall. Without the funny moments between the two, it's going to lose people pretty fast.

    Plus, I didn't like Kate that much. She did go over the top with things and she seemed overly OCD most of the time. I've seen those other shows where they have more kids than her and none of them have gone as far as a nervous breakdown just because of tiny spec of dirt. D:

    But, that's just me. The only reason i watch is for the kids. Problem is, it's getting boring now because all they talk about are their problems with each other. I think they did this to themselves.

    Plus, the Paparazzis are depriving them of their life too. So it's mostly the fact that every time they turn around, someone is spreading these rumors.
