I only know one Asian artist and she is Korean. D:
Wait, is BoA a Korean or a Japanese singer?

J-Hip Hop always sounded strange to me. It's somewhat cute like "Flash" by HALCALI has a mix including J- Hip Hop.
Oh?! Well, in that case, I'll still include her as a Japanese artist then~You're right, she's Korean, but she's active in both Korea and Japan.
I would say that all depends on what you listen to. There are tons of horrible artists out there, but Japan has its fair share of good J-rap. Zeebra, mflo, Dragon Ash, ISSA, Shonannokaze Da Pump, there are a lot of good J-rap acts out there to be found. I'd recommend Dragon Ash, Zeebra, and Shonannokaze, Zeebra and Dragon Ash are a bit older, but I've always loved their music, and Shonan is just fun to listen to for jumpy songs.I heard that JRap isn't that good. :\
I really like LM.C, An Cafe, Abingdon Boys School, UVERworld and MOSAIC.WAV(lol wut), but that has a lot to do with me being a complete nerd.
