    Patch details: https://fevgames.net/pokemon-go-balance-update-july-29-2016/

Looks like some pretty nice changes this time around - the infamous Water Gun has finally been cut down in power and we'll start seeing some cool new Pokémon in our nearby areas if there happens to be a nest there. The 'nearby' tracker update should make things a little easier whilst the 3-step glitch is still being dealt with and it'll be interesting to see which Pokémon end up on top after this patch with so many moves receiving damage adjustments.

What do you guys think of this patch and which Pokémon do you expect to be meta now?

The changes to moves etc doesn't really affect me at this stage as i'm still far too weak to even consider taking on Gyms, but some of the damage rebalances do make sense.

Looking forward to checking out the nearby tracker update; who knows, I may even catch something decent! :o

Hmm, I'm not much of a competitive person with GO; the rebalanced attacks look good, but I'm sure I won't notice it too much while haphazardly taping my screen.

I already noticed the change in nest spawns. All the nearby Magmar disappeared and were replaced with Electabuzz. Which is fine I suppose. Glad they're at least working on a solution to the tracking system too.

Serebii is reporting that some Stops and Gyms might also have been removed in this patch. I haven't been out to check on the ones "near" me yet, but has anyone noticed any missing Stops or Gyms?

Yeah, I can confirm this happened. A local cemetery was full of stops and even had two gyms before this update - it's bare now. They weren't happy with all the increased traffic, and I just assume people weren't being respectful. Not surprised they asked for the stops to be removed.

    Finally updated.

I customised my trainer a little. Will need to wait to see if any spawn locations have changed until i'm out and about; so far i'm just getting the usual Venonats, Weedles and Pidgeys spawning around home.
