Features:

• New character called Sana, who appears to be the character following you in the first trailer;
  
  
• Another character called Pansy (a photographer), who will appear in the anime with Gogoat and Helioptile;
  
  
• The first gym leader called Viola, who specialises in Bug-types in Hakudan City;
• Vivillion's pre-evolutionary line, Kofikimishu & Kofuurai, which are both pure bug-types;
  
  
• New Pokemon called Shishiko, the Lion Cub Pokemon, is a Fire-Normal type;
  
  
• New move, learnt by Shisiko, called Battle Cry which lowers the opponent's attack;
• Another tiny Pokemon that is hugging a flower called Furabebe, and is pure Fairy, knowing Fairy Wind;
  
  
• The starting town is called Asame Town and features three characters besides yourself who are starting out just like you called Sana (mentioned before), Tieruno and Toroba.
  
  
• The scenario of the game's beginning is that you have just moved to Asame Town, where you be-friend a person called Callum or Serene, depending on which gender you are playing as (Callum for girls, Serene for guys).
• A Rhyhorn appears to live in your front yard.

I'm very excited about all of this! I hope Shishiko gets a cool evolution. I don't get the additional normal typing, but oh well. I was very surprised that corocoro didn't just echo the E3 information. I love the characters that appear to be rivals.

And when it reaches that evolution I shall name him Mufasa.

Interested in seeing Callum and Serene... Screens on pokemon.com confirm the official names of the protags are Yvonne & Xavier (which is funny, because many fans actually guessed those names).

That also confirms to me that the opposite gendered protag is NOT a rival in this game (add Callum/Serene and there are already 4), so the customized OGP pictured in the screenshot back in May could very well be another playable character (i.e. co-op). I'm still pushing that theory, especially with PSS I really think that's going to happen.
