I know this might seem obvious but the attack 'Bad Temper's description seems a little vague

can someone please just tell me in simple terms what would result in me using Bad Temper?

THe pokemon is confused. Then its next attack does 60 more damage.

It is vague about 'the active pokemon' for a reason. If the confused pokemon rolls to attack and hits tails, it does 60 damage to itself (active pokemon), but if it hits heads it does 60 to its opponent (also active pokemon) instead of the standard 30 for confusion. It's really bad lol, there's a reason why it never saw play while it was in rotation.

The wording they use seems pretty awkward when you put it that way.

Sorry I didn't explain it right. You use this attack against the defending pokemon, they are confused, then on their turn they flip a coin to attack. If heads, they do their attack +60 damage, but if tails they do the 30 standard confusion to themselves +60. The vague wording about 'active pokemon' is because either way, you are doing +60 to one of the active pokemon, but which one depends on what you flip.

    Ah, thats good.

a bit of a risky move though :P

if it does 60 MORE damage does that mean to does an additional 60 on the 30 it would receive from confusion. making 90 damage total?
