    ok I haven't written poems since a while after I joined here so this probably sucks...lol I just want to vent my feelings...

    Some people think they are above it all,
    but really they are far below,so they can't hear they're mind's call.

    To tell the truth people like that are worse than you,
    they're not worth the gum on my shoe!!!

    I now know why certain people make me cry,
    they never were there for me, if I needed them they would fly.
    I lost a friend that way, or so I thought she was,
    perhaps it was just a dream because, she ended it.

    At first I wished otherwise,
    But now I see with new found eyes.​

    I'll add more poems as I come back...I'd like to hear opinions...
     
    I like it. (: A little short, but I like it. I can also relate to it very easily.

    The only error I saw was that "they're" in the second line of the first stanza should be "their". "They're" means 'they are', which wouldn't make sense if you tried to fit it in there.

    It's a nice, poem, safe when we talk about rhythm. I can only find the third stanza rather uncertain... The last verse didn't rhyme, and the thing's bigger than the other ones. Nevertheless, good poem, I hope you post more.
     
    ^^^ thanks, I know one part doesn't ryme, I sort of did it on purpose...lol, thanks here's a new one, it's short and kind of corny but most of my peoms are lol!!!

    I know it's been a long long time,
    since I've seen my world in it's prime.

    I now see with a new found light,
    the darkness its self put up a fight.

    Now I know what to say:
    I need to see the light of day!
    I've finally made the shadows...go...away!​

    It's time for a fight,
    in the dead of night.

    This wasn't always ideal,
    but now it holds appeal.

    I'll show you what I can do.
    It's time to put an end to you.

    Bring it on, I can take this.
    I'm sick of these unfrienly faces.

    I'll wipe that smirk of your face,
    You need some one to put you in your place!!!​
     
    wow, no posts, huh??? ok well here's a new poem.

    All has been well,
    now is the time to tell,
    what the future will bring.
    In my ear anger shall ring.

    When I return to that place,
    I know I will see your face.
    I'll do my best to stay confined,
    if you stay in the area that's been outlined.

    Let's try to go on another day,
    don't let the temperary peace fade away.​
     
    This one is quite short but hey it's still something

    Is this really what peace can do,
    It has stirred something inside me and you.

    How long will it stay,
    until tomorrow or the next day?

    I do not know for sure,
    But I will not follow you false lure.

    I will prevail, peace or neigh,
    I am here to stay!​
     
    really short one here, thought of it and just had to right it down XP
    Todays the day,
    a good one to play.
    The best of all,
    Summer's finally handed power to fall!!!​
    that one was really happy and kinda stupid, but I'll liv lol!!!
     
    I'm a little upset right now and I think it's effected my poetry, so have at it...
    Reality is one thing I can say sucks,
    You can argue that it's a clash of lucks.
    But how do you know such things,
    No one does, not until the warning bell rings.
    It's out of our power to see the exact events of a future hour.
    We can struggle and put up a fight,
    but that's as good as trying to see in the darkest of nights.
    We all hope for the best,
    and as for that, I'm like the rest.
    We con only hope we win in the end,
    and still love those we thought as a friend.​

    Why, thank you I appreciate that, as no one else has commented and I feel the same way about poetry, people can disagree with the message it sends, but that doesn't mean the poetry is bad!!!

    Hello goodbye,
    why oh why?
    People just leave, they just fly.

    Sometimes it's bad, sometimes it's good.
    I have always handled as mucha s I could.

    There's a power in that, and not just you,
    so hold to your dreams and let go less than a few!​

    It's the joy I feel when you're near,
    It wipes away any tear.
    Banished is every fear.

    Everything is connected,
    but rudeness should be rejected.

    Hatred, love, excitement and fun,
    which ever you feel, we all see the same sun.

    Though our alikenesses aren't complete,
    the things that are, are set in concrete.​
