    what are these pokeshippers/advanceshippers/contestshippers/etc?

A ship is a realationship between two people from the anime. I think this belongs in the anime forums though.

"Shipping" usually has to do with anime/manga characters being paired up. Pokeshipping, for example, is the term to reference the pair of Ash/Misty.

This doesn't have to do with the site though, so I'll move it to…ehh, General I guess.

Shippings are in anime, manga, even in game.

We have a lot of them and usually poke-fans make them. For example,
Advanceshipping - May and Ash as a couple
Rocketshipping - Jessie and James as a couple
Chikoshipping - Ash and Chikorita together
Pokeshipping - Ash and Misty together
Kawaiishipping - Pikachu and Togepi together
    Diamonshipping - Delia and Giovanni
    Eldershipping - Delia and Oak
    Orangeshipping - Tracey and Misty
    etc.
If you like (for example) May and Ash and you would like to see them as a couple, it means, you are : Advanceshipper. If you would like to see Jessie and James as a sweet couple, it means- you are a Rocketshipper.

Shippings are weird. Sometimes we can find shippings like Winona x Flannery (in manga), Tracey and Oak and Delia etc.
