It's not really bumping if I wasn't the last poster, silly.

But thanks for the comment! Actually it was extremely simple to do the rain. I used the same brush for the whole thing, but for the rain and the grass I tweaked it to have scattering and such. A couple of brush strokes, and voila! Rain!
 
Well, I'm...for lack of a better word "artistically retarded."

Still, it's very nice. Keep it up! Also, was it hand-drawn? iscribbles? or just old fashioned paint?
 
All of my art starts as a doodle on paper. Sometimes I ink, sometimes I don't, but then I scan it and paint it in Photoshop. I can also paint traditionally, but I don't do it much anymore because it's hard to get it to look right on the screen, and I like posting my stuff on dA.

I'll be honest and say I'm not really fond of iScribble. Oekaki-type stuff isn't my style (Lily's the one who pwns at that). If I'm gonna use my tablet, it'll be with Photoshop.

Anyways, I have your newest piece faved on DA. The rain effect is nice, the simplicity of it all is aesthetically pleasing, and you've executed the mood well. It looks like something I've seen in a dream once.​
