Chain of Melodies is set between KH and KH2 and the storyline of CoM links the two PS2 games together.

Oh, Lt. Surge, I just wanted to add my own bit of info on the 'Drive' portion of your massive post. Anyways, according to Gamespot (I think), the Drive system also allows you use an ability called Transformation Drive. That's name for it so far. What happens is that Sora fuses with one of his party members, and gains new powers and abilities. The fused character dissappears in the meantime, of course. I've read that when Sora fuses with Goofy, he gains a red costume and wields dual keyblades. I've attached some images from Gamespot that all of you might find interesting.

Ooh... pretty... and this is why games should be released sooner, instead of giving us screenshots that want to make me play the game now. Interesting picture of Auron BTW. (I've been playing FFX again, just doing my last few Blitzball games before I get the Jupiter Sigil, in between visiting the Omega Ruins for some nice levelling (not hard enough to face Don Tonberry yet).

EDIT: In honour of Auron being in KH2, I've changed my sig and actually gained an avatar. As Tidus would say, 'Check this out'.

Wished the whole gameplay was like that it would b so sweet but unfortunately i dont think they would have the time and money to do that............
(Me too i was playing FFX hehehe Sin vs Vegnagun who would win lol a giant elephant whale against a mechanical butterfly with a huge assed long cannon thingy= how does it fit inside its belly?? isnt it too long???)

I was wondering what it was too. I mean, we've all heard of Chain of Memories, but Melodies? Is it some Kingdom Hearts mixed with DDR type game? XD

And there is a new trailer from the 2004 Tokyo Game Show! Lots of new Heartless and new scenes (I like the Heartless most ;p). Some kind of door guard-gemini-twin-Heartless, new Bandits, some kind of Japanese warriors, some weird beak-like Heartless in Agrabah, and some sort of Japanese mage things (note: not stereotyping Japanese things, just calling them Japanese since they appear in Ancient Japan/Mulan's world).

And yay Auron helps you fight. Finally a Square-Enix character on your team.

Oh yea, Two keyblades comes from a fusion with goofy.

When you fill your drive meter, you can perform fusions and special attacks. In this fusion, Sora's cloths change, he gains extra strength and speed, and he loses the ability for magic.

Triangle's job is changed, to a really powerful finishing attack.


I'm still looking for some of my pictures. My computer is completely cluttered, and as wierd as it seems, I copy the url for a single picture on a single notepad document, and stick it in some folder, but I usually forget which folder i stuck it in. Very irresposible and stupid, but thats just me. It's one of the measures I take, to make sure my desktop is clean looking, but the rest of my computer is a total mess, lol.

I wonder... if the fusion shown in recent pictures(Sora's 'Brave' form) automatically gives you Kingdom Key as the second Keyblade. It's definetly a possibility because it's the first available charge ability, so it's probably the weakest.

And if a fusion with Goofy gives you extra speed, strength, etc, but at the expense of your magic, then a fusion with Donald will probably give Sora some devastating magic attacks like Holy or Meteor. And what do you think the Sora/Donald fusion will be called?

It may always be Kingdom Key or possibly a Keyblade equivalent of Goofy's current equipped shield. Ex: Basic shield becomes basic Keyblade (Kingdom Key) and the best shield becomes the best Keyblade (Ultima Weapon :]). If this is true (which I doubt, but its a neat idea I had) I wonder what Defenders would become? Sora wielding Riku/Ansem's Keyblade? Mehehehe...

And merging with Donald will most likely make a magic based Sora. What effects it actually has, though, there's many possiblities. Perhaps infinite MP while merged, perhaps spells become extremely better, perhaps many new spells all together, we don't know yet.

Hmmm i wonder if you'll be able to merge with temporary party members... Imagine the possibilities... A Sora/Auron merger, or perhaps Halloween Sora/Jack Skellington (if Halloween Town is in it, which is very likely seeing as Normora said it was his favorite world in KH1).

The BHK? Thats been around since... forever XD
I think he was in last year's TGS

well... I think he may be another Sora. Crazy idea, huh?

Remember the three worlds? I think it was, the Light world, the Dark World, and the Inbetween world.

I think there must be a keyblade master for each world. Sora, Mickey, and The BHK. Riku is a possibility for one, but I think all signs point to him being a fake keyblade master.

Firstly, the keyblades he holds are like exact opposites! Oblivion gives extra strength but takes away from your magic, and Oathkeeper gives you extra magic at the expense of strength!

Oathkeeper is given to Sora from Kairi, which means it has to represent some form of light, or goodness(whatever other 'good' attributes you can think of)

And Oblivion was found in Hollow Bastion, the source of the evil Heartless!

Mixing Evil and Good, plus the fact that he has lots of attributes that are the same as Sora's leads me to think he is 'Sora' from another world. If you saw Deep Dive, then you see two Unknowns speaking to each other about Sora. One of them had two keyblades, and the other one said "He looks just like you" and it shows Sora, maybe dead, or in a coma, but he is flying in the wind over the ocean!

The BHK Must have some kind of relation to Sora!

So. Accounting the facts that:
-He has some direct relation to Sora
-He seems to control evil, but fight for good(AsAs Trailer, he makes the Heartless symbol in the ground, and in the DD trailer, he fights heartless)
-He has Oblivion AND Oathkeeper
-He looks just like Sora

Geez, I hope saying all of this doesn't spoil the game, but he's gotta be Sora from another world(the inbetween world), OR a family member.

Mulan's world was the last world I was expecting to be in KH2...

I wasn't. If you remember, the red dragon (I forget the name) was one of the Summons you got in KH, so it's not too surprising.
