What, exactly, is an Awakening? It's usually represented by a dream of some sort. But why? Do these Awakenings happen to prove that the one having it exists?
The Keyblade master went through it. His Nobody did as well. And since she's managed to escape the darkness, I'm guessing Maleficent went through an Awakening also.

I was known as #12 of The Order. My original name was Larene. I am now nothing but a floating shell, more fake then before.
I just finished off a DarkSide Heartless. I suppose now I'll end up the same as that witch AND Xehanort: using someone else's body.
Here's a brainteaser: Can a Nobody have it's own Nobody?
Somewhat retelling of KH II. The Organization still plans on using Sora for their own needs. Disney villains still want to rule all. The difference? You pick which side to be on.

We will start in, where else, Twilight Town. I would also prefer excellent grammar. If you can't do that, well, at least try the best you can, and such.
One more thing: No guns. Swords, bats, Keyblades, etc. are ok.
NAME: Ben Nabuto
AGE: 16
GENDER: Male
HOMEWORLD: Bittersweet Vista
PERSONALITY: Quiet, not too social, will talk when needed usually. Will help people if they seem hopeless in a battle.
APPEARANCE:
HISTORY: Ben lived in his quiet, humble world without a care in the world. He had a good life, a great girlfriend named Crystal, and all was well...until the incident.
His older brother, Jason, was inspired by Ansem's research an experiments, and wanted to be just like him. Unfortunate for him, he did not know of what happened exactly in the Radiant Garden, and so was following in the wrong footsteps. Stealing his father's machine and killing their mother, he initiated a repeat performance of Ansem: He casted off his own body and became one with the darkness. Ben was traumatized ever since. And it did not help either that the Heartless had begun attacking their world.
When the walls seperating the worlds first collapsed, Ben found himself in a mysterious castle. That's where he met Maleficent. After she promised to find his girlfriend, Ben became the Disney Villain's agent. He did side jobs for Hades, but mostly his purpose was to find the seven Princesses of Heart. Leading an army of Heartless, he kidnapped Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora (AKA Sleeping Beauty).
Whilst alone, Hades encountered Ben. He explained that Maleficent would not find his girlfriend, but HE would. Hades manifested an image of Crystal, which more than persuaded Ben to turn against Maleficent. Working solely for Hades, his first task was to visit Captain Hook, where he then learned the captain's best sword styles. Next, he was sent to Mt. Olympus to exterminate Zeus. On the way there, he was intercepted by the Enigmatic Man, who explained that Ben was nowhere strong enough to defeat Zeus. He promised to give power to him, and Ben accepted.
Unfortunately, it was the power of darkness. Working under the alias Jason, named after his demented brother, Ben performed different tasks for the Order, mostly gathering Nobodies while he lived in Castle Oblivion. Eventually, the power of darkness overwhelmed him to the point of insanity. He attempted an attack on Namine, only to be knocked out by Axel, who placed him inside one of the "memory pods" (the things Sora, Goofy and Donald sleep in). When he next awoke, all of the darkness in his body had completely disappeared. He exited Castle Oblivion, and traveled to Twilight Town, where he believed his destiny awaited...
WEAPON: Paladin's blade. Ignites a blue flame around the blade, which lights up dark areas and deals extra damage to dishonorable foes. Can fire magic blasts.
ALLIES: Sonjax (will be introduced later), and King Saturn (also introduced later).
