What exactly is different in Age 3 than Age 1?
Here is a few quotes from my KoC clan (yes I started my own KoC site and forums, the first one got over 250 members and over 130 people on the ClickMaster, it was good).
" Well for you that don't know a few changes was made around KoC, here will be a list of them.
- The gold each player is no longer seen. You will have to spy on them to see how much gold they have.
- Now if some one is real low (most likely stats) and they attack some one high their soldiers will retreat.
- The weapon damage now goes down to .00 (like 636.67 / 640).
- New spies called "Sentries" have been added (I think the new spies works on Defense when some one is trying to spy on you).
- New Weapons/Tools have been added to help Spies and Sentries.
- And new Sentry Rating have been added to the Military Effectiveness.
Right now that is just a few new things added, so maybe that means that age 3 will start soon."

- Sabotage is back on KoC so the way to protect yourself is to get Sentries.
- For a short time (a few days) you can reassign Spies to Sentries (help on what I just said up there).
- You can now see how much gold some one has if their Sentry Rating far inferior to yours (also works great since you can spy on them and get their stats to attack or not)."

- Vacation mode has been added to your Command Center. Using this you will go inactive from 1 week to 4 weeks.
- Spies and Sentries can now be killed in battle if you don't fend off an attack.
- Now you can launch 10 covert operations on players (it used to be only 5)
- A buddy list has now been added. On the stats page of every member you have a drop down box with 5 groups on it (Neutral, Friend, Enemy, Ignored and Alliance). This will help on knowing if some one is in your Clan/Alliance if they don't have a tag.
- Three new weapons was added. Stick, Blackpowder Missile and Invisibility Shield was added to the Weapons List. Stick is 200 gold and Blackpowder Missile and Invisibility Shield is 750,000 gold.
- Price change on Weapons and Tools. Some of the weapons and all the tools have had their prices changed to cost more (only the third highest weapons is lower on the prices).
- The Buddy List now has icons on their profiles and on the ranking page to show if they are Friend or Foe (each icon has it's own look to them).
- You can now ditch your commander or choose a new commander (you can only do this once every age)."
