4th Gen King's Rock Evolution?

    I recently traded a Slowbro holding a King's Rock with a friend and traded back, and all goes well.
    Except for the fact my Slowbro is still a Slowbro holding a King's Rock.
    Any suggestions/help/similar problems?

    I tried to do the same with my Rattata, hoping it would evolve into Rattaking. It failed.
     
    Has it always been slowpoke?
    cause I could have sworn it was Slowbro at some point.

    EDIT: you guys don't even know how pissed I am now...
     
    your tying to evolve slowbro to slowpoke its the other way

    slowpoke+kings rock=Slowking
    slowpoke lv37=slowbro
     
    Wow. Sorry about this man. I used to miss the days where just trading Pokemon made them evolve! Sorry that happened. BTW, Slowking is an excellent idea for a team. Anybody else love the voice for him in "Pokemon 2000"?
     
    i wanted a slowking on my team so i trained one and then i looked it up at serebii.net and i found out it was weak agains 5 kinds of atacks....
    so i traded it for an hitmontop :P
