    HE SAID HE'D NEVER PLAY ANOTHER POKEMON GAME...

    But for his birthday, great friends Achromatic, McCree, and Morkula forced him to return to catch 'em all!

    Thanks again to my excellent friends for their generosity on my birthday!

    I painstakingly downloaded the game while at work and began my adventure by selecting the adorable Rowlet!

    I, frankly, don't know how much I like either of the other starters. Litten sort of catches my eye, and Poppilo just doesn't at all (sorry fans!). Plus Rowlet does cute owl shuffles.

    I'll skip most of the story/plot stuff, since you should already know that. My second catch of the game was a Ledyba!

    Following Ledyba, I caught myself a Magnemite just because I dunno.

    I'll probably be dropping Magnemite at some point, since I wound up catching this cute guy soon after. I took these four into battle against the Skull Grunt and then the Captain skirmish.

    I'm now currently on Route 2 and exploring a bit! I decided to catch this big fella as well to pad my team a bit.

    Not planning on keeping him longterm, but for now he's a good addition to keep me safe. I'm specifically looking to catch Mankey here soon, then the other monkeys available in the new games. I'm nearly tempted to wait until I can get my full monkey team though, but perhaps that'll be my next run.

    Still here on Route 2 (while my laundry is going), but visited the Graveyard and caught myself a Gastly.

    He's leveling up fast enough that I may keep him around for awhile.

    Makuhita has proven to be a weak addition though, so he likely will be deposited as soon as I catch something else worth keeping.

    While making my way past the Backpacking gal, I secured a Cutiefly!

    Definitely thinking I'll keep this one on the team, since she actually proved to be a bit of a challenger. :)

    At the end of Route 2, I met with Hau and hung out near the grass there to capture...

    Who I swapped Magnemite out for, since a fire type seems like a good addition overall.

    AN UPDATE...

    Stopped in Paniola for the night and decided I'd update my team list AND my box list, since I've captured quite a few Pokémon since my last update.

    I figure most people know the story by now, so I will likely just do some updates like this from now on. :)
