6th Gen latios and latias

What's the difference?
I mean, like, I'm not very good at ORAS but I can't tell between latios and latias.

Oh I can sum up a simple way to describe Latias and Latios. The two do have similar body shapes, and similar movepools, with Latios learning mainly offensive moves and Latias learning defensive ones, which is also the case with their stats. Also, Latios is blue and Latias is red, however their Megas are both purple, but thankfully their eyes are coloured differently as well, Latios having red eyes and Latias having yellow eyes.

Hikamaru is pretty much right about this. Latios is the attacker while Latias is the defender, based on base stats and movepools. They have identical stats except for the their Attack and Defense: Latios has a higher Sp. Attack and Attack while Latias has a higher Sp. Defense and Defense.

When they Mega Evolve, the stat difference becomes more pronounced, with Latios getting major boosts to Sp. Attack and Attack, while Latias gets major boosts to Sp. Defense and Sp. Attack.

They're if Minun and Plusle were legendaries and their colors are switched. So to speak.
